Our Philosophy
Gen2B believes in making powerful AI broadly accessible to fuel innovation, research, and creativity. This license is designed to be as permissive as possible for individuals, creators, researchers, and most companies. It allows for free and unrestricted use for the vast majority of cases, including most commercial applications.
To ensure the sustainable development and responsible deployment of HyGPT, we ask that organizations in a few specific, high-value industrial sectors contact us to ensure responsible deployment and partnership. This approach allows us to maintain the model and support our community.

Partnership & Custom Fine-Tuning
This is the general version of HyGPT. If you need to fine-tune this model for your specific needs, we would love to partner with you. Please don't hesitate to contact us at: info@gen2b.ai

1. Permitted Use: What You CAN Do
Subject to the conditions in this license, Gen2B grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and create derivative works of the HyGPT Model ("Model").
This grant of use explicitly includes:
- Personal Use & Non-Commercial Research: Use of the Model for any personal project, experimentation, or academic research.
- Commercial Use for Most Businesses: Use of the Model for internal commercial purposes within your company or by you as an individual. This applies to all businesses except those whose primary operations are in the sectors listed in Section 2.

2. Use Requiring Specific Permission from Gen2B
This license does not grant the right to use the Model if your organization's primary business is in one of the following sectors. You must contact us for permission before any such use:
- Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI)
- Telecommunications
- Cloud Service Providers (i.e., offering infrastructure, platforms, or software as a service - IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Similarly, you must contact us for permission if you intend to:
- Resell or Host the Model: You may not sell, sublicense, or offer the Model as a hosted service where third parties can send requests to the Model and receive responses without explicit permission.

3. Mandatory Conditions & Use Restrictions
Your right to use the Model is subject to the following conditions:
- Compliance with Base Model Policy: HyGPT is a derivative work of Google's Gemma model. As such, you must not use the Model for any of the restricted uses set forth in the Gemma Prohibited Use Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. You can find the policy at: ai.google.dev/gemma/prohibited_use_policy
- General Limitations: In addition, you may not use the Model to develop or train a competing language model.
- Attribution: While not required for internal use, we appreciate attribution to Gen2B and HyGPT in public-facing work.

4. Notices and Distribution Requirements
If you distribute the Model or any derivative of it, you must comply with the following:
- Notice of Modification: You must include a prominent notice stating that your files are modifications of the original HyGPT and, by extension, the Gemma model.
- Include this License: You must provide all recipients with a copy of this HyGPT Permissive Use License.
- Include Base Model Terms: You must provide all recipients with a copy of the Gemma Terms of Use.
- Include Notice File: All distributions must be accompanied by a "Notice" text file that contains the following notice: "Gemma is provided under and subject to the Gemma Terms of Use found at ai.google.dev/gemma/terms".

5. Legal Disclaimers
- Disclaimer of Warranty: THE MODEL IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
- Limitation of Liability: IN NO EVENT SHALL GEN2B OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE MODEL OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE MODEL. THIS INCLUDES THE DISCLAIMERS AND LIABILITY LIMITATIONS OF THE UNDERLYING GEMMA MODEL AS SPECIFIED IN ITS LICENSE.
By using, downloading, or accessing the Model, you agree to be bound by the terms of this HyGPT Permissive Use License and the incorporated Gemma Terms of Use.
