+ 5 Ways to Increase Glutathione
4
+ Glutathione is the body’s amazing natural Master Antioxidant – a powerful detoxifier produced in the body.  It works to neutralize free radicals formed within the body from natural chemical reactions and free radicals from outside the body – found in the environment, alcohol, UV rays, and more. Glutathione works to stabilize these free radicals and prevent them from causing damage to cells and tissues.
5
+ As we age, Glutathione levels naturally decline. Free radicals also deplete Glutathione levels, increasing free radical damage and creating oxidative stress.   This weakens immune function and allows toxins to build in the body, resulting in toxic overload, disease, and premature aging.
6
+ The good news is there are ways to boost Glutathione levels to help the body fight free radicals and stay in optimal health.
7
+ Here are 5 Ways to Boost Glutathione:
8
+ Consuming sulfur-rich foods helps to increase Glutathione levels. Sulfur is found in the two amino acids that are precursors to Glutathione and contribute to its synthesis – methionine and cysteine – making this a critical mineral required for Glutathione production. Many foods fit into this category, including sulfur-rich proteins such as beef, fish, and poultry and sulfur-rich vegetables, notably broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower. Certain Allium vegetables are a great source of sulfur as well. Allium vegetables come from a family of plants commonly cultivated for their culinary uses, and sulfur-rich options include garlic, leeks, and onions. Many studies have linked the addition of these sulfur-rich foods to higher levels of Glutathione.
9
+ In addition to sulfur, foods rich in selenium raise Glutathione levels. It is an essential mineral that is necessary for Glutathione activity. To ensure the body has adequate levels of selenium, consume brown rice, Brazil nuts, beef, chicken, and fish.
10
+ Avoid the toxins that need to be contracted by Glutathione. There are many ways to reduce your toxins load. First, reduce exposure to environmental toxins, pollutants, and chemicals whenever possible. Make conscious choices about what you put on your body and what cleaning agents you use around the house. Check out the EPA’s Safer Choice label for guidance. Avoid pesticides by trying non-chemical pest and weed prevention methods around your house.
11
+ Regular moderate exercise plays a significant role in maintaining and increasing healthy Glutathione levels. Maintaining overall good health with moderate exercise reduces oxidative stress, which, in turn, taxes the Glutathione less. But- exercise, when done right, can also help boost Glutathione.  The study “Effects of Training on the Glutathione Antioxidant System”  examined the impact of different types of exercise training and the effect on Glutathione levels in the body. It determined that a combination of both cardio and circuit weight training increases Glutathione the most, compared to completing cardio or weight training alone. This form of moderate exercise can reduce the oxidative stress on the body, boosting Glutathione levels.
12
+ Why moderate exercise? Moderate exercise induces a more balanced oxidative response, which may be less taxing on the body’s antioxidant defense system. During high-intensity exercise, Glutathione depletes rapidly. Every time athletes exert themselves, the body converts increased oxygen to energy, releasing free radicals to steal electrons from healthy cells and tissues. These unstable atoms can damage cells and cause illness and aging – but for athletes post-workout, they can damage proteins and lipids. The reactive oxygen species (ROS) can damage cells and tissues, including muscle fibers. Post-activity, the stress on the body and inflammation that comes with it must be addressed immediately, or chronic issues can set in. The inflammation also further taxes the body’s antioxidant “tank” of Glutathione. This isn’t to say that people shouldn’t enjoy hard workouts over moderate ones, but that supplementing and boosting Glutathione in other ways becomes even more critical.
13
+ Much of the stress load in our bodies that leads to oxidative stress and lower levels of Glutathione is from our daily choices. Avoiding excessive alcohol, smoke, and secondhand smoke is a great place to start.
14
+ Alcohol, in particular, is mainly broken down and metabolized through the liver. If the liver produces enough Glutathione, it can exit acetaldehyde (alcohol turned into toxic acid in the liver) quickly from the body. However, binge drinking and excessive drinking can lead to lower levels of Glutathione, leaving the toxin to stay in the system longer.
15
+ Supplementing with Glutathione can be a powerful way to increase levels in the body; delivery systems include IV, oral, and topical supplementation. The delivery system is critical, as efficacy differs based on how the Glutathione enters the body.
16
+ A recent study shows positive results for Glutathione supplementation through transdermal application, specifically testing Auro’s Glutaryl. The study investigated a topical application of GSH-cyclodextrin nanoparticle complex (Glutaryl) as a potential non-invasive GSH delivery route with therapeutic effects against mycobacterium infection.
17
+ Results suggest that the topical application enhances control of M. avium infection by raising Glutathione levels, mitigating oxidative stress, and fostering a positive immune response.
18
+ These results show a more positive and effective result of Glutathione efficacy than information regarding oral and IV Glutathione delivery:
19
+ Glutathione plays a critical role in the body to detoxify free radicals, leading to better overall health. Consider steps to boost levels of Glutathione in your body. Lifestyle choices and powerful supplementation can help. Auro Wellness has the solution you need.

+ Acid and Enzymes for Indigestion: How they can Help
4
+ Indigestion or dyspepsia is a common digestive issue affecting millions of people. It occurs when your stomach does not produce enough acid and digestive enzymes. Fortunately, you can aid digestion by using HCl and enzyme supplements.
5
+ Highlights
6
+ Stomach Acid: Function, Deficiency, and How to Increase It
7
+ Our stomach contains powerful acid – hydrochloric acid (HCl) – that breaks down food and prepares the breakdown products for further digestion by specific enzymes. Besides, HCl is instrumental in preventing infections, as it kills harmful bacteria.
8
+ Two HCl-related health conditions are achlorhydria and hypochlorhydria. In achlorhydria, the stomach does not produce HCl, whereas, in hypochlorhydria, there is a low level of HCl in the gastric juice. Studies estimate that about 1 in 3 older adults have hypochlorhydria.1
9
+ Both conditions can severely affect your ability to digest food, causing:
10
+ Aside from higher age, other causes of low acid levels include stress, heartburn drugs called PPIs, antacids, and surgery.
11
+ Using a betaine HCl supplement with dietary changes is the most commonly used approach to promote digestion. It helps temporarily restore the acidic environment in the stomach.
12
+ According to a 2013 study, people with drug-induced hypochlorhydria can temporarily increase stomach acid levels by taking betaine HCl.2 Most notably, the researchers revealed that betaine HCl acted within 4 minutes after intake, and the effect lasted for more than 60 minutes.
13
+ Using betaine HCl with pepsin (a protein-digesting enzyme) is likely superior to taking betaine or pepsin alone, reports a 2020 study.3
14
+ Enzymes for Digestion: Function, Deficiency, and How to Supplement It
15
+ Your body uses enzymes to break down carbohydrates (carbs), fats, and proteins. The main types of enzymes in the human body are:
16
+ Amylase
17
+ It breaks down carbs or starches into sugar molecules. Having too little amylase can cause diarrhea.
18
+ Lipase
19
+ Lipase, in association with bile, breaks down fats or oils. Insufficient lipase increases your risk of developing a deficiency of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K).
20
+ Protease
21
+ Protease splits ingested proteins into amino acids (AA). Besides, it protects the intestines against harmful microorganisms. People with low protease may have allergies or intestinal toxicity. Common proteases are pepsin, trypsin, and chymotrypsin.
22
+ Cellulase
23
+ Your body needs cellulase to break down dietary fiber into simple molecules. Low cellulase can lead to gas, bloating, non-specific abdominal discomfort, frequent diarrhea with foul-smelling stools, tiredness, or weight loss.
24
+ Lactase
25
+ Without lactase, your stomach cannot digest lactose, leading to a condition called lactose intolerance. Lactose is a sugar found primarily in milk and dairy products. Symptoms of lactose intolerance, which usually occur from 30 minutes to 2 hours after consuming lactose-containing foods, include:
26
+ If you or anyone you love has indigestion, it is best to try an enzyme supplement that contains all the major digestive enzymes in appropriate proportions. Starting supplementation soon after the first symptoms of indigestion is crucial to prevent nutrient deficiencies and food intolerances.
27
+ Besides, you may also consider the following tips:
28
+ When to Call A Doctor
29
+ Most digestive issues are temporary and tend to respond to supplementation. Yet, some may need professional help.

+ Options for Acne Scar Treatment
4
+ From a few small pits to dramatic changes in skin texture and appearance, acne and the lasting scars it can leave behind are common sources of frustration with our skin. To figure out which treatment is right for you, it’s important to understand how scarring and discoloration form and which acne scar treatments are appropriate for each case.
5
+ Types of Acne Scars
6
+ Scarring is a sign of healed skin trauma and can appear in a few different forms.
7
+ These marks form when there is not enough collagen during the healing process and they are the most common form of acne scars. Atrophic scars are categorized into “icepick”, “boxcar”, or “rolling” scars, depending on their appearance.
8
+ Hypertrophic or Raised Scars
9
+ When the body makes too much collagen during healing, it creates raised scars that sometimes look like ridges. These are often the result of acne on other parts of the body, like the back or chest. They sometimes require a different approach than atrophic scars.
10
+ While many people see this as scarring, the darker skin left behind from skin healing isn’t scar tissue. Instead, this is an overproduction of melanin and it definitely requires its own solutions.
11
+ Acne Scar Treatments
12
+ Dermatologists and aestheticians have a range of treatments that can help with the appearance and pain of acne scarring.
13
+ Hyperpigmentation usually doesn’t require in-office procedures. Instead, look for products like retinoid cream, exfoliant serums or toners, and brightening ingredients like Vitamin C and glutathione. Glutathione can even or brighten stubborn dark spots because it blocks the activities of tyrosinase, the enzyme that creates melanin. Research like this 2014 study on glutathione lotion demonstrates that this miracle molecule can lead to significant fading of hyperpigmentation.
14
+ If you’re looking for relief from acne scarring in a total skincare package, check out Auro REST and WAKE creams. These combine the highest quality skincare ingredients with GSH for an easy-to-use solution. Meanwhile, Auro GSH Spray offers concentrated glutathione with limited extra ingredients.

+ Antioxidants and Anti Aging Skincare for Men
4
+ It’s easy for skincare to move to the back burner in your 20s. But by the 30s and 40s, many men are looking for ways to mitigate signs of skin aging. While you can’t change the past, anti-aging skincare for men can still help. With the right ingredients, it’s easy to improve your skin and protect it going forward.
5
+ Signs and Causes of Skin Aging
6
+ There are some common signs of skin aging that any effective anti-aging skincare for men should address.
7
+ The Relationship Between Oxidative Stress and Skin Aging
8
+ Many people are unaware of the devastating effects oxidative stress has on our bodies, including aging skin.
9
+ Oxidative stress occurs when we have too many free radicals, a by-product of cellular functions including reactions to injury, disease, or toxin exposure. Left unchecked, free radicals can damage cells and their DNA. Research has linked oxidative stress to a variety of health problems from chronic fatigue to cancer and skin issues from acne to (you guessed it) increased skin aging
10
+ Fortunately, we have allies in the fight against oxidative stress: antioxidants. Antioxidants are substances that disarm free radicals so they can be safely eliminated, protecting our cells from oxidative stress.
11
+ Antioxidants and Anti Aging Skin Care for Men
12
+ Getting plenty of antioxidants is crucial for our overall health, including supporting our skin as we age. One way to do this is by eating foods rich in antioxidants (check out Auro founder Dr. Nayan Patel’s comprehensive Glutathione Revolution to learn more about this). Another is using antioxidant ingredients in our skincare.
13
+ Popular skincare antioxidants include:
14
+ Glutathione (GSH) is not only a powerful antioxidant, but it can also recycle itself and other antioxidants. This boosts your overall supply and maximizes the benefits of any other skin treatment you try.
15
+ GSH increases collagen and cell turnover, repairs damage from UV rays, reduces the appearance of scars, lightens hyperpigmentation, and improves overall skin function. This helps keep your skin in tip-top shape even as the years go by.
16
+ The Auro Skin Protocol combines this miracle molecule with other antioxidants like Vitamins C and E and premium skincare ingredients to provide total anti-aging skincare in a safe and easy-to-use format.
17
+ While anti-aging skincare for men can seem overwhelming, antioxidants like GSH provide a proven way to simultaneously protect your health and keep skin vibrant. The more you integrate them into your routine, the happier your skin will be!

3
+ What are the Benefits of Glutathione?
4
+ As the “Mother of All Antioxidants”, glutathione (GSH) repairs and protects the body by boosting existing antioxidants and limiting oxidative stress. But thanks to modern lifestyles with some not-so-great habits and the onslaught of toxins we face every day, it’s easy for GSH supply to fall short of demand.
5
+ While it may sound extreme, we know that effective glutathione supplements can improve just about every aspect of our health! As glutathione expert, Dr. Nayan Patel, says,
6
+ “Glutathione is involved in just about every function in your body.” So more glutathione = better function!
7
+ What is Glutathione?
8
+ Glutathione is a crucial element of our body’s detoxification process and helps us heal and protect ourselves from oxidative stress. Active in every system of the body, glutathione disarms the harmful free radicals generated by chemical reactions in cells, particularly in response to injury or disease.
9
+ Too many free radicals lead to oxidative stress, which occurs as free radicals damage the DNA and proteins inside our cells. GSH, however, alters free radicals into a safer form so the body can eliminate them. GSH can also recycle itself with the help of other vitamins like Vitamin C, ensuring we maintain the highest level of GSH.
10
+ What are the Benefits of Glutathione?
11
+ Low GSH and high oxidative stress are linked to a variety of health issues, like:
12
+ On the other hand, many studies show that raising glutathione levels reduces oxidative stress and boosts the body’s natural healing capabilities. This can improve symptoms and treatment outcomes for many conditions. Here are just a few examples:
13
+ Aside from specific conditions, many people find that general glutathione supplementation helps with overall health and wellness. Here are some of the specific benefits of glutathione:
14
+ Supports Liver & Detoxification
15
+ The Liver is the clearinghouse of toxic substances for your body, and is heavily concentrated with Glutathione (GSH). GSH meets up with these toxins and deactivates them by either neutralizing them or flushing them out of the body.
16
+ Boosts Immune Function
17
+ Glutathione is considered the ‘food’ for your immune systems as it is responsible for regulating, producing, and activating the immune cells that help with fighting off bacteria, viruses, and other harmful foreigners in your body.
18
+ Increases Energy
19
+ GSH protects the Mitochondria, the powerhouse of your body, from oxidative stress and helps the mitochondria stay healthier so they can produce energy.
20
+ Reduces Inflammation
21
+ GSH modulates inflammatory markers by reducing the oxidative stress that is increased by exercise, diet, environmental toxins, and stress.
22
+ Improves Athletic Performance
23
+ Glutathione assists with cleaning up acids that are produced in your body when you endure strenuous exercise. GSH is also significantly concentrated in your lungs and low levels of GSH can impair functioning.
24
+ Improves Brain Health
25
+ As you age, the fatty tissues in your brain oxidize leading to a decline in your information-carrying capacity. GSH helps recharge the antioxidants that assist in balancing this oxidative stress.
26
+ How Do We Get More Glutathione?
27
+ Our bodies create glutathione using amino acids from our food. But this ability declines with age, often when we need even more! Additionally, underlying health issues and the often toxin-laden environment of the modern world can quickly use up our GSH stores.
28
+ Some practitioners prescribe supplementing GSH through oral droplets or IV infusions. However, we do not absorb GSH well through oral or digestive routes. Glutathione delivered by IV is not yet approved by the FDA and may only be active for up to 30 minutes.
29
+ Currently, the best form of GSH supplements is transdermal so long as the formula uses glutathione in a small enough form to travel through the skin barrier. Auro’s patented Glutaryl is one of the first glutathione products to use sub-nanotechnology to deliver GSH in a highly absorbable form. Their topical sprays and creams can be safely used at home or on the go.
30
+ You can also boost your glutathione levels with certain dietary and lifestyle changes. Find simple, effective plans to do this (along with much more info on GSH) in Auro founder Dr. Nayan Patel’s Glutathione Revolution. Or reach out with questions any time!

+ A Comprehensive Guide to Glutathione:  Key Benefits & Side Effects
5
+ Antioxidants are essential for protecting the body from the harmful effects of free radicals, which can lead to illness and disease. While antioxidants like Vitamin C and Vitamin E are well known, Glutathione stands out as the “Master Antioxidant” due to its crucial role in supporting overall health and vitality. It powerfully works to fight disease, slow aging, and increase energy. Produced by the body, Glutathione serves as the primary defense mechanism against oxidative stress and is vital for processes like immune function, cellular repair, and detoxification. In short, Glutathione affects just about every aspect of health. Maintaining optimal levels can enhance everything from better quality sleep to cancer prevention and beyond.
6
+ Why is it important to know about Glutathione? Every one of us has the power to boost our Glutathione levels, which is crucial for long-term well-being. Lifestyle choices, diet, and natural, proven supplementation make all the difference!  Explore our Glutathione Products.
7
+ What is Glutathione?
8
+ Every human begins life with abundant levels of Glutathione (GSH), a small but powerful molecule that helps protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. Made up of three amino acids -cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine – it is found in almost every cell in the body. The liver is the main source of Glutathione because it can produce cysteine, one of its key components, through a specific internal process. Glutathione is created in the body by combining glutamate and cysteine, then adding glycine to form what is known as GSH, the active and most abundant form of Glutathione. This sets Glutathione apart from other antioxidants mainly derived from plant sources outside the body.
9
+ Ideally, the body would have enough Glutathione to keep it healthy and vibrant, battling oxidative stress and inflammation throughout our lifetime. We are born with Glutathione stores, but as we age, Glutathione levels naturally decline. As Glutathione is used in the body to combat toxins, levels deplete. Toxins include pollutants, environmental stressors, stress, poor diet, alcohol, tobacco, and chronic disease or infection.
10
+ While Glutathione is set apart from other antioxidants because it is produced inside the body, it can also be boosted from plant sources outside of the body, like Vitamin C and Vitamin E.
11
+ To naturally boost Glutathione levels, fill your diet with wholesome and nourishing whole food, including fresh, organic foods and a good balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fat to help the body run optimally. Skip highly processed food with preservatives and other chemicals that stress the body to expend less Glutathione, fighting free radicals and dealing with heavy metals.
12
+ Auro Wellness Founder Dr. Nayan Patel’s book The Glutathione Revolution outlines a comprehensive list of foods containing Glutathione or other substances that promote the production of it, which are foods with high concentrations of cysteine, Vitamin C, and selenium. Food with the highest concentrations of Glutathione include:
13
+ Symptoms of Glutathione Deficiency
14
+ What are the signs of Glutathione deficiency? Because Glutathione affects so many aspects of health, the symptoms can be wide-ranging. Here is a list of common symptoms that are linked to low Glutathione levels:FatigueFeeling sluggish? Glutathione has a role in that. Glutathione is essential for efficient energy production in the body. The body’s primary energy currency source is the cells’ mitochondria.  Their job is to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the body’s primary energy currency.  When cells and tissue have an abundance of stressors, also called oxygen-reactive species (ROS), they need adequate detoxification to balance those reactive products. Glutathione detoxifies and balances free radicals, protecting the cells and energy-producing mitochondria. It helps to maintain the appropriate mitochondrial environment to avoid mitochondrial dysfunction and cell death by detoxifying and balancing free radicals. It doesn’t stop there! Glutathione is also essential in promoting fatty acid metabolism, significantly influencing energy production.Brain FogBrain fog is generally characterized as a “fuzzy head” feeling—a lack of focus, clarity, and confusion.  Like our bodies, our brains need Glutathione to help rid the body of toxins that damage functionality. These toxins that affect brain health include unhealthy lifestyle choices, poor nutrition, lack of exercise, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, chronic stress, and exposure to toxins, pollutants, or certain chemicals. Glutathione protects cells from damage and supports brain health by neutralizing free radicals and balancing oxidative stress. It also lessens the buildup of toxins in the body that can often trigger Brain Fog.Sleep ProblemsLess Glutathione in the body means getting a good night’s sleep is more challenging. When struggling with sleep issues, the body uses even more antioxidant power to fight free radicals that are stressing the body due to sleep duress, further chipping away at your Glutathione levels. Glutathione is a sleep-promoting substance, and rising levels of Glutathione can increase deep sleep where cognitive recovery occurs. Also – the three amino acids that make up Glutathione, glycine, glutamate, and cysteine, all have properties that contribute to inducing better sleep. Glutamate helps suppress neuronal activity and increases calming alpha waves, making falling asleep easier. Glycine helps boost serotonin levels. Cysteine has a role in protecting neurons from oxidative stress.  Dull SkinDepleted Glutathione levels affect skin health, too, by accelerating the signs of aging on the skin. Skin is exposed to external environmental free radicals all day and extrinsic skin damage from stress, alcohol, poor nutrition, etc. This exposure leads to the formation of free radicals that can cause cellular damage –  wrinkles, dull skin, uneven skin tone, and rough texture – well beyond the skin’s natural aging.  The first line of defense is reducing exposure to these free radicals as much as possible. But it’s impossible to have no exposure. Ample levels of Glutathione protect the cellular breakdown of the skin barrier, leading to vibrant skin.
15
+ Aging As we age, our natural levels of Glutathione decline. At the same time, as we age, Glutathione becomes increasingly essential for protecting DNA from mutations and preventing age-related diseases. Since aging cells are more vulnerable to oxidative stress and damage, the body is more susceptible to the depletion of Glutathione as it works to defend against this increased free radical harm.Stress Glutathione is depleted as stress rises. Studies show that moderate stress levels raise Glutathione levels, particularly in older adults with reduced levels of Glutathione. It’s a pretty fantastic function; this elevated Glutathione level is believed to play a role in preconditioning the body for stress tolerance by protecting against more severe stress. Or simply, the body gets ready to battle against elevated stress to come by increasing Glutathione stores. The downside is that stress is directly correlated to Glutathione depletion.Drugs Illegal drugs, alcohol, and even some medications drastically increase oxidative stress. This interferes with the body’s ability to produce and recycle Glutathione. Glutathione’s effects are far-reaching, and lower levels can contribute to numerous health problems, including organ damage, inflammation, and beyond.Poor Diet What can you avoid when boosting Glutathione levels? Stay away from pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and antibiotics that make their way into our food supply. Buy organic when possible or farmer’s markets from a local known farmer. Processed foods affect Glutathione levels, similar to the effect of food carrying chemical residues. Eat whole, fresh, and organic, and boost those Gluathionee levels! The good news: Glutathione deficiency can be turned around! It’s as simple as 1-2-3-4 – By adopting four lifestyle habits, anyone can preserve and build Glutathione naturally. Find out more about natural ways to increase Glutathione levels.
16
+ People get there Glutathione levels tested for various reasons, including low energy levels, a weakened immune system, to ensure  their body is effectively removing toxins with the help of this Master Antioxidant, and more. Doctors can test levels by measuring Glutathione concentration per gram of hemoglobin in red blood cells.
17
+ Uses of Glutathione
18
+ Glutathione is vital in tissue building and repair, producing essential chemicals and proteins, and supporting the immune system. Due to its wide-ranging functions at the cellular level, it impacts nearly every part of the body, from overall wellness to more specific actions within various systems. Here are just a few of the many ways it impacts overall wellness.
19
+  The powerful detoxification benefits of Glutathione extend to the skin as well. IT can be applied topically, with the high potency Glutathione found in Auro Wellness G, as well as with Glutaryl for full body Glutathione-boosting effects. By helping balance the free radicals that barrage our cells every day, Glutathione fights off oxidative stress that leads to aging skin and the cellular breakdown of the skin barrier.  This protecting against the breakdown of the skin barrier, prevents wrinkles, dullness, uneven skin tone.
20
+ Many people ask the question – does Glutathione help with weight loss? It does, in a couple of different ways. First, ample Glutathione helps the liver get rid of waste and toxins. A cleanse is merely a colon clean-up, but detoxing means helping the liver work properly and truly flushing toxins out of the body that had previously slowed down metabolism or contributed to weight gain. Second, since Glutathione plays a role in mitochondrial function, which is crucial for energy production and metabolism, ample Glutathione means healthy mitochondria, which can help the body burn fat more efficiently and aid in weight management.
21
+ Glutathione affects overall health in numerous ways. At the core of many health problems is chronic inflammation. The damage to healthy cells can, over time, culminate in the onset of severe or life-threatening conditions such as cancer or Type-2 diabetes. Glutathione neutralizes the free radicals that cause oxidative stress, which triggers inflammation.Neurodegenerative Disease: Research shows that oxidative stress damages cells and disrupts their function, making Glutathione a promising treatment due to its antioxidant properties. A study highlights that Glutathione plays a key role in neurological disorders and could be a diagnostic biomarker.Liver Disease: Glutathione reduces oxidative stress in the liver by neutralizing free radicals, lowering inflammation, and slowing liver damage. The study “Reduced Glutathione Suppresses Oxidative Stress in Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease” supports its role in promoting liver health.
22
+ Benefits of Glutathione
23
+ It’s no surprise – Glutathione health benefits are far-reaching. This Master Antioxidant supports overall health by neutralizing free radicals that can otherwise damage cells, with an integral role in immune function, tissue repair, and managing inflammation. Left unchecked, chronic inflammation can harm healthy cells and contribute to serious diseases like heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and arthritis. Research highlights Glutathione’s powerful detoxifying abilities, which aid liver function, help the body eliminate toxins, and even promote weight loss.
24
+ Glutathione also benefits the skin with its anti-aging properties, reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and dullness. It  can reduce melanin production, which is the culprit for uneven skin tone and melasma. Glutathione even regenerates other antioxidants like vitamins C and E, extending their antioxidant capabilities and powerful effects on healthier skin. It is not just for aging; it may also relieve skin issues like acne. Research shows that people with severe acne often have lower Glutathione levels and higher oxidative stress. Without enough Glutathione to manage free radicals, acne may be more likely to occur.
25
+ Glutathione enhances the liver’s ability to function efficiently. It plays a vital role in the liver’s two-phase detoxification process by binding to toxins, neutralizing them, and facilitating their removal from the body. It also protects the liver from the free radicals, reducing inflammation so that this important organ can do its job effectively.
26
+ Glutathione indirectly supports weight loss in many ways, including aiding the liver in boosting its ability to eliminate waste and toxins from the body. While a cleanse typically focuses on cleaning out the colon, detoxification involves supporting the liver to function optimally, allowing it to effectively flush toxins from the body. By boosting the liver’s detoxification capabilities, Glutathione also helps metabolize fats more efficiently, which may aid in weight loss.
27
+ Glutathione truly is a hero antioxidant, protecting the body from oxidative stress and elevating health on multiple levels. Ample Glutathione levels provide a boost ot  energy, enhances overall wellness, improves mood and even reduces cancer risk. The importance of good sleep is the cornerstone to good health as well, and effect of Glutathione on sleep is tremendous as an important component of regulating sleep quality and duration.
28
+ Glutathione Supplements?
29
+ Supplementing with Glutathione is an effective way to boost its levels in the body. Delivery methods include IV, oral, and topical forms. The delivery process is crucial, as the effectiveness of Glutathione varies depending on how it is absorbed.A study on transdermal application of Glutathione using Auro’s Glutaryl showed more effective results than oral and IV delivery methods. The research focused on Glutaryl spray and its therapeutic potential against mycobacterium infections. Findings suggest that the topical application increased Glutathione levels, reduced oxidative stress, and improved immune response, enhancing the body’s ability to control M. avium infection. In comparison, A clinical trial of Glutathione with oral supplements showed an increase only in the plasma and no increase in the red blood cells (RBCs). Plasma Glutathione has a short half-life, so its effectiveness may not be transformative.A study on IV Glutathione shows that after a high dose, none ended up in red blood cells, and all stayed in the blood plasma. The Glutathione only remained in the blood for about 14 minutes. Although IV Glutathione skips the digestive system, its effects may not last long, and the long-term benefits are unclear.
30
+ Learn more about the Ideal Glutathione Supplements
31
+ It’s always advisable to consult your healthcare provider for safety concerns, but Glutathione is generally considered safe. However, experts are unclear if it is safe while pregnant or breastfeeding. When looking for supplements, ensure they are third-party tested—they’ll have USP, NSF, or ConsumerLab on the packaging. This ensures that the supplement has the amount of Glutathione the label claims to have and is free of contaminants.
32
+ No side effects have been reported with a high Glutathione intake from diet alone. Regarding other forms of supplementation, there is not enough scientific evidence to establish a standard dose of Glutathione, so it’s wise to confirm the exact dosage with a physician. Studies have used different doses for specific medical conditions. The right dose for you may depend on factors like your age, sex, and medical history. If excessive Glutathione is taken, side effects can include digestive issues, headache, dizziness, skin rashes, and difficulty breathing.
33
+ The Bottom Line on Glutathione
34
+ Glutathione is a key player in having a healthy body and mind. The liver produces this Master Antioxidant and detoxifies the body – affecting overall health in numerous ways. It plays a critical role in balancing the free radicals that besiege us, which, left unbalanced, create oxidative stress from unstable atoms that can damage cells. This abundance of oxidative stress is the precursor to disease, sickness, and many other effects on the body, from low energy to aging skin. GSH is vital to the immune system’s proper functioning, building and repairing tissues, and much more. You can boost your Glutathione levels with good lifestyle choices, Glutathione boosting foods, and Auro Wellness’s proven Glutathione supplement, Glutaryl.

3
+ Finding the Ideal Glutathione Supplement
4
+ There are many reasons to add a glutathione (GSH) supplement to your health regimen. But without knowing which format and formulation offers the best absorbed glutathione, you could just be throwing your money away.
5
+ Why Choose a Glutathione Supplement
6
+ You may be surprised to learn that glutathione is one the most plentiful substances in the human body but it’s no wonder given its crucial role in regulating the body and protecting our health.
7
+ GSH helps us carry out a variety of important functions throughout the body. In the liver, for example, it processes out toxins like pollution and foreign bacteria. And in the immune system, it promotes production of immune cells and activates them when they encounter a threat or when we need an injury repaired.
8
+ Glutathione is best known for protecting us from harmful oxidative stress. This occurs due to a buildup of free radicals, which are generated by certain cell functions including our responses to stress, injury, and disease. GSH neutralizes free radicals before they can damage cells, heading off oxidative stress and the many negative health outcomes associated with it.
9
+ Finding the Best Supplement Format
10
+ GSH supplements are currently offered in three delivery methods: oral, intravenous, and transdermal.
11
+ These are typically tablets to swallow, but it’s unlikely you’ll get much GSH this way since the digestive system breaks the GSH molecule down before it can be used. There are also sublingual drops, which are likely more effective but still unreliable.
12
+ Some practitioners offer IV infusions or smaller vitamin shots to send GSH directly into the bloodstream. However, it seems that GSH provided this way is only active for a short time so it’s likely not your best bet for consistently raising glutathione levels over time.
13
+ These treatments are also not FDA-approved and you’ll have to find a qualified facility to administer them, which can be both time-consuming and costly.
14
+ The safest and most reliable way to supplement GSH is through topical sprays, creams, and lotions. These are easy to use anytime at home or on the go, simplifying your health routine. But to get the maximum benefit, be sure to go for one with the most effective form of glutathione.
15
+ Finding the Best Absorbed Glutathione Formula
16
+ The best-absorbed glutathione is reduced or l-glutathione[Link to l-glutathione post]. This is the same form that the body produces and it’s the easiest for the body to pull from supplements.
17
+ Unfortunately, many products only list “glutathione” in the ingredients, which doesn’t tell you which form of GSH they use. To get the most effective formula, be sure to choose one that specifies either reduced or l-glutathione.
18
+ Unlike most other manufacturers, Auro uses innovative sub-nanotechnology to create our highly absorbable patented Glutaryl spray. Safe and simple to use, Glutaryl leaves you confident that you’re getting the most GSH with every spray! We’re also available any time to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
19
+ While choosing a supplement can be intimidating, equipping yourself with knowledge makes the search short and successful. Now that you know which type of supplement and which form of GSH to go for, you’re well on your way to more glutathione and better health overall!
20

+ Best Anti-Aging Skincare Products after 30
4
+ Many people over 30 experience similar skin complaints and concerns. At the top of the list is signs of skin aging like wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging. So if you’re wondering if there’s any skincare changes you should make or how to figure out the best anti-aging skincare products for 30s, know that you aren’t alone.
5
+ How Skin Changes In Your 30s
6
+ Puberty and young adulthood are often rough on skin, but many people don’t realize that skin can keep changing well into your 30s. Dermatologist Mary Ruth Buchness offers some more detail:
7
+ “Your 30s mark the beginning of your skin’s indecisive years — you’ll get oilier and drier. The oil glands on the face actually become larger with age, which leads to large pores. But no matter how oily your complexion seems, your skin loses the ability to retain water in your 30s.”
8
+ So if oily patches were a challenge for you in high school, you may find things tipping the other way now. Or if you had trouble keeping skin hydrated before, oil overproduction could be gearing up.
9
+ Unpredictable combination skin can also make it much more difficult to tackle other symptoms of age that usually start developing in your 30s.
10
+ Along with changing texture, the 30s are when most people start seeing decreases in collagen production and skin elasticity, leading to the first wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin.
11
+ Older skin has a much harder time bouncing back from accumulated damage from sun exposure and bad habits (poor diet, lack of skincare routine). Additionally, many 30somethings deal with oxidative stress: a buildup of harmful free radicals that damages cellular DNA. Research has linked oxidative stress to a variety of health issues, from diseases like cancer to skin problems like acne, psoriasis, and premature skin aging.
12
+ Best Anti-Aging Skincare Products after 30
13
+ Fortunately, there’s ingredients that can help repair and renew our skin along with fighting oxidative stress.
14
+ Wearing a broad spectrum sunscreen with at least 30SPF is critical for preventing visible skin aging and cancer. If your skin is sensitive, look for mineral sunscreens like zinc oxide and titanium oxide.
15
+ Chemical exfoliators like retinol, alpha hydroxy acid, and glycolic acid are gentler than resurfacing procedures like microdermabrasion. They stimulate cell turnover which helps repair damage.
16
+ Pair exfoliators with moisture-magnets like hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and aloe vera to plump skin up and minimize fine lines.
17
+ Fight oxidative stress, encourage new cell growth, and brighten skin with antioxidants like Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Coenzyme Q10, and glutathione (GSH). Antioxidants disarm free radicals and other toxins, boosting the immune system and keeping skin looking its best.
18
+ GSH is particularly helpful since it not only has its own antioxidant power, but can also recycle both itself and other antioxidants. This protects your overall supply and ensures you’re getting the most out of any other anti-aging treatment you try!
19
+ That’s why we developed Auro’s patented Skincare Protocol, using sub-nanotechnology to combine the best anti-aging ingredients with a highly absorbable form of GSH. With formulations for day or night, or with limited extra ingredients, you can easily and safely combat skin aging while also boosting your overall health!
20
+ While skin care after 30 certainly requires a different approach than earlier stages of your life, it doesn’t have to be complicated. The best anti-aging skincare products for 30s is all about understanding your skin’s needs and nourishing it with ingredients like those discussed here. With this in mind, you’ll be well on your way to your ideal skin routine.

+ Finding Rosacea-Friendly Skincare
4
+ Rosacea is one of the most common (and stubborn) skin issues reported today. This chronic condition causes flushing and redness through the many small blood vessels in the face as well as “small, red, pus-filled bumps”, as the Mayo Clinic describes it. While it is often confused with acne, rosacea has different causes and requires different treatment. One of the best ways of tackling it is finding the best clean skincare for rosacea’s specific needs.
5
+ The Best Clean Skincare for Rosacea
6
+ Rosacea is often unpleasant or painful and many feel embarrassed by its obvious symptoms. It can also make skincare tricky since it can happen to any skin type (dry, oily, or combination), meaning you may be trying to handle multiple issues at once.
7
+ It’s important to understand that rosacea is not caused by bad hygiene. However, there are several skincare strategies that can help control or reduce symptoms.
8
+ Symptoms tend to come and go, periods referred to as “flaring” and “remission”. Flares are often caused by certain triggers. These can be internal or external. Some people may be able to avoid triggers entirely and generally live flare-free, while others struggle with near-constant symptoms. Identifying your personal triggers is key to developing a helpful routine.
9
+ Triggers vary from person to person but here’s some of the most common:
10
+ It makes sense that your skincare products and routine can have a big impact on rosacea. Remember that rosacea is not the same as acne, even if they look similar, and harsh acne products can actually make rosacea worse. The American Academy of Dermatology recommends avoiding strong astringents or toners, camphor, fragrances, glycolic acid, lactic acid, menthol, sodium laurel sulfate, and urea.
11
+ Instead, you’ll want to find products with rosacea-friendly ingredients. Certified dermatologist and director of cosmetic and clinical research in dermatology at Mount Sinai Dr. Joshua Zeichner recommends: “ingredients like niacinamide, green tea extract, chamomile (bisabolol), feverfew, and a variety of other soothing botanical extracts. Skin-barrier repair ingredients like ceramides, oat extract, and hydrating glycerin may also be helpful.”
12
+ You may also want to use glutathione. Research, like this 2020 study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, connects rosacea with oxidative stress, which is closely tied to low levels of glutathione.
13
+ By boosting glutathione, you can increase your body’s ability to fight oxidative stress, repair damage and lower systemic inflammation both in the face and throughout the body.
14
+ Auro’s patented Skincare Protocol WAKE and REST creams are formulated with gentle rosacea-friendly skincare ingredients as well as highly absorbable glutathione. Their products provide a comprehensive skin care package along with glutathione’s powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

+ Caring for Sensitive Acne Prone Skin Inside and Out
4
+ If you’re struggling with redness, blemishes, and irritation, you know how difficult it can be to figure out the best skincare for sensitive acne prone skin, particularly with so many products promising miracles. Here are some tips to help you figure out your ideal routine and ingredients.
5
+ Minimize exposure to triggers
6
+ Identifying and minimizing exposure to your personal acne triggers helps you make the most of your skincare routine. While each person’s skin is different, we know that the sun’s UV rays and common toxins in our modern environment often worsen acne breakouts.
7
+ Dermatologists recommend wearing broad spectrum 30SPF sunscreen daily to protect against UV irritation and damage. You should also cleanse skin at least twice a day to remove any chemical build-up.
8
+ Stick with gentle ingredients
9
+ Many acne-focused products are too harsh for sensitive skin. Salicylic acid, for example, is effective for moisture balancing but higher concentrations (such as those used in acne spot treatments) can simply make matters worse. Retinol is a similar case. This form of vitamin A stimulates collagen growth and cell turnover, which is why it’s commonly found in anti-aging formulations, but often irritates sensitive skin.
10
+ When assessing the best skin care for sensitive acne prone skin, look for milder ingredients like:
11
+ Remember that antioxidants can be the best skincare for sensitive acne prone skin
12
+ Many people are still unaware of one particularly concerning trigger: oxidative stress, which occurs when the body is overwhelmed by free radicals. Free radicals are by-products of cell reactions and internal responses to trauma from illness or injury that can attack cell DNA and disrupt normal functions. Studies have linked oxidative stress to a long list of health problems, including acne.
13
+ Antioxidants protect cells by neutralizing free radicals. This helps us avert consequences of oxidative stress like premature skin aging, acne, and rosacea before they can start.
14
+ Glutathione (GSH) is a particularly important antioxidant since it not only fights free radicals but also helps regulate cell functions and recycles both itself and other antioxidants so they can keep working for us.
15
+ And its many benefits for skin are clear in research. For example, studies have linked decreased glutathione with more severe acne while supplementing GSH reduced symptoms in patients with psoriasis.
16
+ The main way to increase antioxidants is through diet, since our bodies absorb antioxidants and their building blocks through food. (Check out Auro founder Dr. Nayan Patel’s comprehensive guide Glutathione Revolution for more on this.)
17
+ Fortunately for us, antioxidants can also pull double duty when added to skincare products. Vitamin A (retinol) and vitamin C are popular skincare allies but glutathione shines here, too. In fact, transdermal formulations like Auro’s patented Skin Protocol are the most effective way for your body to absorb extra GSH, which makes it easy to improve your skin and your overall health in one easy step.
18
+ Modern lifestyles and pollution can make it difficult to find the best skincare for sensitive acne-prone skin. But avoiding triggers and sticking with gentle, effective ingredients like antioxidants will help you improve your skin both inside and out!

3
+ Which Glutathione Supplement is the Most Absorbable?
4
+ While there are several factors to consider when looking for glutathione (GSH) supplements, perhaps the most important is absorbability, since your supplement isn’t much good if your body can’t take it in. There are several ways supplements supply this miracle molecule, but not all of them are the best way to absorb glutathione.
5
+ Getting More Glutathione
6
+ Generally, our bodies synthesize glutathione using amino acids from food. But there are many reasons this supply can fall short of demand.
7
+ GSH synthesis declines with age (just as we need it most) and GSH stores can be quickly depleted by trauma from illness or injury. The high level of toxins we encounter in our modern lives also takes a toll on our detoxification processes.
8
+ Some choose to get more GSH by eating foods that promote GSH production, particularly cysteine, one of the building blocks of GSH. Foods good for this include:
9
+ Oral Glutathione Supplements Aren’t Very Effective
10
+ When diet isn’t enough, many people turn to glutathione supplements. Pills and capsules are a relatively inexpensive delivery method, but unfortunately perhaps the least effective. Auro founder Dr. Nayan Patel explains:
11
+ “The problem with oral glutathione supplements is that, once the active GSH enters the system, digestive enzymes in the gut dissolve and eat most of it up. It’s not easy to tell how much glutathione actually gets absorbed but an educated estimate has it at about 15 percent at best…” Glutathione Revolution
12
+ Glutathione IVs Provide a Short Term Boost
13
+ Another popular way to get GSH is through IV infusions or vitamin shots. This delivers the whole GSH molecule directly to the bloodstream and research shows this can be helpful in some cases, particularly for patients undergoing chemotherapy.
14
+ However, this treatment is not yet FDA approved and it must be administered by qualified medical staff. Additionally, we don’t have evidence that it raises GSH levels in the long term as GSH given by IV is quickly processed by the body.
15
+ Transdermal Formulas are the Best Way to Absorb Glutathione
16
+ The safest and most effective way to supplement GSH is with a transdermal spray or cream. By using sub-nanotechnology to reduce the GSH molecule, transdermal formulas like Auro’s patented Glutaryl deliver GSH into the lipid channels of the skin. This makes it much easier for the body to absorb the full dose and send it right to work.
17
+ Transdermal GSH is also quick to apply anywhere on the body, making it ideal for home use and simple to add to your existing self-care routine. Auro supplements also come with ongoing support! Reach out to us any time to get your questions and concerns answered fast.
18
+ There’s certainly plenty of good reasons to keep your glutathione levels high. Fortunately, a transdermal spray is an effective solution for absorbing GSH and is currently the best way to absorb glutathione.

+ 5 Things to Consider When You Buy Glutathione
4
+ The demand for glutathione (GSH) supplements is on the rise as more people learn of the amazing role GSH plays in maintaining our health. But not all supplements are made equally. If you’re looking to buy glutathione, there are some important factors to consider.
5
+ 5 Things to Consider When You Buy Glutathione
6
+ Taking a glutathione supplement won’t be very helpful if it doesn’t deliver GSH in a form your body can use.
7
+ While glutathione pills and under-tongue drops are popular, they are likely not very effective. Our bodies synthesize GSH using amino acids from food. So when we eat GSH, our digestive system pulls the molecules apart into those building blocks. You would get better results from eating foods that promote GSH production (as Auro founder Dr. Nayan Patel details in Glutathione Revolution).
8
+ Transdermal supplements like Auro’s patented Gutaryl, on the other hand, are much more effective, particularly when they use a reduced form of the glutathione molecule. Auro is one of the few brands to use sub-nanotechnology to ensure maximum absorbability so you get the most from every spray!
9
+ It’s also important to establish how strong a supplement is. You may absorb a product just fine, but it won’t do much good if there’s not a high enough concentration of GSH.
10
+ One easy way to estimate potency is to check how the product smells. Strong glutathione has a distinct sulfur-like smell which tells you it’s still active and ready to go to work. Once applied, the scent should dissipate in a few minutes.
11
+ Another popular supplement form is whole GSH molecules delivered by injection or with an IV infusion. This is certainly absorbable and potent but it also requires visits to a doctor’s office or clinic. That means more time and expense and potentially less safety than a transdermal product.
12
+ If you’re interested in getting GSH this way, be sure to work with a reputable facility that has qualified staff on site.
13
+ You should also know how long your supplemental glutathione will be active. With IVs and injections, the body uses up GSH very quickly. This can mean repeated clinic visits if you want long term results. We also don’t yet know how oral or injected GSH can alter glutathione levels over time.
14
+ Transdermal supplements may be a better bet since it takes the body longer to process GSH provided this way. Sprays and creams are also easier to apply consistently every day.
15
+ It’s quick and easy to buy GSH pills or injections online, but that certainly doesn’t mean safe. Take some time to know the source of the product you’re buying: is this a retailer stocking from different suppliers or are you getting it directly from the manufacturer? Is the manufacturer available if you have concerns?
16
+ At Auro, for example, we clearly state the ingredients we use (all of them the highest quality) and follow best manufacturing practices. We also provide information and ongoing support, meaning customers can directly communicate with us any time.
17
+ While finding the right supplement can feel intimidating, it doesn’t have to be! Now that you know how to determine the strength, efficacy, and safety of GSH supplements, you can confidently explore your options and decide where and how to buy glutathione.

3
+ The Neuroprotective Role of Glutathione: A Potential Ally Against Peripheral Neuropathy
4
+ Over 20 million people suffer from peripheral neuropathy in the US. It is the most common neurodegenerative disease worldwide and a significant cause of chronic pain. Peripheral neuropathy results from damage to the peripheral nervous system, which transmits signals between the central nervous system (comprising the brain and spinal cord) and various parts of the body. This condition can mean the body has impaired transmission or sends mixed signals, resulting in cognitive and motor impairment.
5
+ There are many causes of peripheral neuropathy, but the underlying factor is the role of oxidative stress and inflammation in the body. Glutathione, the body’s naturally occurring Master Antioxidant, can have an impact on balancing the free radicals that cause this, as Glutathione is an essential neuroprotective molecule in the brain. Auro Wellness’s Glutaryl can be a powerful Glutathione supplement and ally in the fight against peripheral neuropathy.
6
+ What it Feels Like to Have Peripheral Neuropathy
7
+ It is not easy to diagnose peripheral neuropathy because of how diverse the condition is. Most people have heard of the effects of peripheral neuropathy in the form of weakness, numbness, and pain in the hands and feet. However,  it can profoundly impact various bodily functions, including regulating the heart and blood vessels, digestion, urinary function, musculoskeletal system, and immune responses. The symptoms can overlap with other diseases and vary according to the nerves involved.
8
+ The most common causes of peripheral neuropathy are surgery, accidents, disease, or infection. Major diseases may lead to neuropathy as well. People with  HIV, shingles, and syphilis may experience neuropathic symptoms from infections.
9
+ Glutathione Protects Neurons in the Brain
10
+ Glutathione is a molecule that plays a crucial role in protecting neurons in the brain, helping to safeguard them from damage and degeneration.  It is a tripeptide molecule composed of three amino acids: glutamate, cysteine, and glycine. It plays a crucial role in cellular protection, detoxification, and maintaining cell redox balance. It is involved in tissue construction and repair, the composition of certain chemicals and proteins. By balancing free radicals, Glutathione fights off oxidative stress.
11
+ Recent research has uncovered the pivotal role of oxidative stress in the development of neurodegenerative diseases. It can damage cellular structures, disrupting their proper functioning, including neural health.
12
+ Oxidative Stress has been connected to the progression of neurodegenerative disease. This oxidative stress occurs when antioxidants like Glutathione do not balance free radical molecules.  The free radical is an unpaired, highly reactive electron. Free radicals are called reactive oxygen species (ROS) when they involve oxygen. ROS is a common byproduct of normal aerobic cellular metabolism. Naturally occurring Glutathione is part of the body’s built-in antioxidant system that balances the ROS, preventing any harm caused by excessive ROS production. However, there is not enough antioxidant fighting power; oxidative stress occurs. Oxidative stress leads to free radical attacks on neural cells, contributing to neurodegeneration.
13
+ Insights into the significance of Glutathione in brain health indicate that compromised Glutathione levels may contribute to neurological conditions. The study “Glutathione in Brain Disorders and Aging” asserts, “Glutathione assumes a crucial role in the initiation and progression of neurological disorders and neurodegenerative diseases, potentially serving as a diagnostic biomarker for screening these conditions.”
14
+ Increasing the level of GSH within neurons is seen as a promising strategy for treating neurodegenerative diseases.
15
+ Glutathione Can Help with the Cause of Pain, Not Just the Symptoms
16
+ Most pharmaceutical treatments for neuropathic pain do not treat the underlying cause but rather the symptoms. Getting to the core of the problem, balancing ROS with more Gluathione fighting power is working. This study titled “Glutathione alleviated peripheral neuropathy in oxaliplatin-treated mice by removing aluminum from dorsal root ganglia” is related to the side effects of the chemotherapy drug Oxaliplatin, which is used to treat cancer, one of which is peripheral neuropathy. To alleviate neuropathic pain in the mice treated with Oxaliplatin, the researchers injected Glutathione. The result: It helped reduce the concentration of aluminum accumulation around the spinal cord and alleviated the pain.
17
+ As research continues, the exciting relationship between Glutathione and neural damage and peripheral neuropathy brings hope to many.
18
+ Increasing Glutathione in the Body
19
+ Glutathione is naturally occurring in the body. When Glutathione levels in the body are plentiful, they can powerfully balance the free radicals that, if left unbalanced, can lead to neural damage. However, the stress on the body from disease, illness, surgery, everyday life, and more leads to excess free radicals. In addition, Glutathione declines with age.
20
+ For Glutathione to balance ROS and free radicals, it’s imperative to actively increase the levels of Glutathione in the body. A great place to start is to eat Glutathione-boosting foods, limit stress, limit pesticide and toxin exposure, find ways to manage stress and get plentiful sleep.
21
+ Supplement with Glutathione. Some work more potently than others.
22
+ Dr. Nayan Patel of Auro Wellness has been studying Glutathione for over two decades and has documented the effects of supplementation on overall health and vibrancy. Glutathione is hard to supplement due to the large size of the particle. IV and oral supplementation are unproven with a short window of efficacy, if at all. This led Dr. Patel to develop The Auro GSH™ Antioxidant Delivery System, which uses first-of-its-kind patented technology to optimize antioxidant absorption and effectiveness. The subcutaneous delivery of this Master Antioxidant means a more powerful impact on the body with just four sprays two times a day. Its efficacy is proven, with a recent Pilot Study evidencing its antioxidant power on immune function.
23
+ Peripheral Neuropathy can be devastating. But there is help. Don’t give up; try the antioxidant power of Glutathione to battle against it. Find out more at www.aurowellness.com/blog.

+ Glutathione’s Revolutionary Role in Cellular Vitality
4
+ Glutathione, often hailed as the “Master Antioxidant,” has garnered immense attention in the realm of health and wellness, with over 45 million searches dedicated to this remarkable molecule. Its pivotal role in cellular health cannot be overstated, yet the challenge has always been in effectively delivering potent doses of Glutathione (GSH) into our cells. Imagine the possibilities if there were a non-invasive method to achieve this—what impact would it have on our cellular health, and what range of diseases could it help prevent?
5
+ Excitingly, recent research sheds light on these very questions. A study titled “Glutathione Metabolism and the Novel Role of Mitochondrial GSH in Retinal Degeneration” delves into the profound effects of GSH on our cells, offering insights that could revolutionize our understanding of cellular health and disease prevention. In this email, we present a summary of these groundbreaking findings, showcasing the incredible results of what happens when products like our Auro  Glutaryl and Glutaryl + deliver potent doses of GSH into your cells.
6
+ Prepare to be amazed by the transformative power of GSH—these results are nothing short of extraordinary.
7
+ GSH & the Cells and tissues of the Body
8
+ The study found that GSH plays a key role in maintaining and regulating tissue redox homeostasis, ensuring that the balance between oxidation and reduction reactions within the cells and tissues of the body. When GSH levels are insufficient, cells become more susceptible to damage, leading to tissue injury. This kind of tissue damage is closely linked to the onset and progression of a variety of serious health conditions. Specifically the study stated that deficiencies in GSH have been associated with several neurodegenerative diseases, autoimmune disorders, and ocular diseases. Among the ocular disorders linked to GSH deficiency are age-related macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma, Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy, and diabetic retinopathy. These associations underscore the importance of GSH in cellular defense mechanisms and highlight its role in preventing diseases that can lead to significant impairment and loss of function.
9
+ GSH and Retinal Cells
10
+ The study mentions that the retina is uniquely vulnerable to oxidative stress due to its high oxidative metabolic rate, constant exposure to light, increased oxygen flux, and the presence of easily oxidized polyunsaturated fatty acids. This combination of factors creates an environment within the retina that is particularly prone to oxidation, necessitating a robust antioxidant system to safeguard retinal tissues against the damaging effects of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Glutathione (GSH), along with the enzymes responsible for its metabolism and regeneration, forms a critical component of this antioxidant defense system in the retina. Gene and protein expression data support the notion that GSH is among the most significant antioxidants in retinal and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells, playing a crucial role in protecting these cells from oxidative damage and preserving their function and integrity. The study mentions there being far too many deficiencies to list, however GSH and retinal diseases directly relevant to this review include Age-related macular degeneration (AMD), Diabetic retinopathy, Glaucoma, Retinitis pigmentosa and Wolfram syndrome.
11
+ Mitochondrial GSH
12
+ The study states that Mitochondrial GSH is vital for maintaining cellular energy production and overall mitochondrial health, essential for processes like respiration and ATP generation. Lower levels of mitochondrial GSH can lead to significant reductions in a cell’s energy-producing capabilities, underlining the crucial role of GSH in preserving mitochondrial function and, consequently, cellular health.
13
+ Cellular respiration is the process through which cells transform biochemical energy from nutrients into ATP, the primary energy carrier in cells crucial for supporting most cellular activities. This process, occurring primarily within the mitochondria, involves glycolysis, the citric acid cycle, and oxidative phosphorylation. Disruptions in ATP production can lead to energy deficits, cellular dysfunction, disease development, and the activation of compensatory mechanisms, all of which can significantly impact health.
14
+ Mitochondria, despite lacking the machinery to synthesize it, maintain their own GSH pool, predominantly in a reduced form, enabling them to counteract oxidative stress and neutralize superoxide generated during ATP production. This antioxidative capacity is critical given the higher concentration of superoxide in the mitochondrial matrix compared to the cytosol. GSH’s role extends beyond antioxidation, involving detoxification, mitochondrial DNA stabilization, and as a cofactor in the synthesis of iron-sulfur clusters. Emerging research also highlights the mitochondria’s role in initiating signals in response to stress, affecting nuclear gene expression and altering cell function, with mitochondrial GSH playing a central part in these processes.
15
+ In summary, mitochondrial GSH is indispensable for cellular energy metabolism and integrity, impacting not only mitochondrial function but also broader cellular health and disease susceptibility. Efficient ATP production and robust GSH levels are crucial for maintaining cellular health, with disruptions potentially leading to a range of health issues.
16
+ Glutathione supplementation with high efficacy emerges
17
+ Dr. Nayan Patel of Auro Wellness, has dedicated over two decades to Glutathione research, observing its profound impact on the health and vitality of his clients. His commitment to enhancing Glutathione delivery mechanisms has established him as a global authority, culminating with the creation of the innovative Auro GSH™ Antioxidant Delivery System. This first-of-its-kind patented technology topically delivers this powerful antioxidant faster and with the highest efficacy, with just four sprays twice a day of Glutaryl.
18
+ Glutathione is hard to supplement due to its large size and difficulty to stabilize. Traditional methods such as intravenous (IV) and oral supplementation for Glutathione delivery have been met with skepticism due to their limited and unproven effectiveness. This has led to the exploration of precursors like N-acetyl-l-cysteine (NAC) to enhance the body’s own production of Glutathione. However recent studies have shown, Dr. Patel’s Glutaryl represents a significant advancement by introducing an innovative preservation method, ensuring optimal efficacy and overcoming previous delivery challenges.
19
+ The study titled “Topical Absorption of Glutathione–Cyclodextrin Nanoparticle Complex in Healthy Human Subjects Improves Immune Response against Mycobacterium avium Infection” [1] shows that regular application of Glutaryl to the skin is a safe and effective way to balance the free radicals that can lead to illness and sickness.
20
+ The study further reveals that Glutaryl, significantly enhances immune response and detoxification. It effectively increases Glutathione in blood cells, reducing oxidative stress markers, bolstering a strong immune system and the removal of bacteria. These results showcased Glutaryl as a potent, non-invasive solution for boosting overall wellness and immune function. Auro Wellness’s patented sub-nano technology ensures unparalleled absorption and effectiveness, positioning Glutaryl as a pioneering wellness standard.

4
+ Melody Guy has a story to tell. She is a beautiful songwriter, artist, and performer, and her life is truly an expression of her artistic abilities.  Like so many, during Covid, her livelihood was put on hold, she stopped touring the country, and the stress of life led her down a health spiral that her body could not handle.
5
+ Solving her health challenges with the help of Master Antioxidant Glutathione has been a life-changing journey. Now, she is feeling revitalized, has more energy, and is happy again, and she is thanking the power of Glutathione.
6
+ Follow this walk-through of Melody’s health journey and see how this critical antioxidant has helped Melody turn her health – and life  – around.
7
+ The Beginning
8
+ At the height of 2020, Melody’s body was under major stress. She had unexplained weight gain and bloating, low energy, was in pain, and was just plain miserable. As symptoms accelerated, she knew something was very wrong and eventually ended up in the hospital. That trip to the hospital visit when she finally got some answers – she was dealing with gall bladder sludge, biliary obstruction, and a kidney infection. Her body was toxified. A test of her liver function showed an extremely high level of AST – and it was determined that Melody was suffering from the non-alcoholic fatty liver and Type 2 Diabetes. Also, an MTHFR gene mutation made it very difficult for her body to detox. These genetic predispositions were illuminating – her siblings and dad had similar health struggles, and the puzzle pieces started to come together.
9
+ While finding reasons for her poor health was affirming, it was incredibly frustrating. Finding answers for treatment to rid her system of toxins and get some balance in her body led her to dead ends, and doctors simply weren’t helpful. She tried to doctor herself, purchasing various supplements, anything she could, but still no solutions. Nothing worked.
10
+ Introduction to Glutathione
11
+ While visiting her sister Debbie in Oregon, they both went to an Intravenous (IV) Clinic, trying anything they could do to get relief from their chronic conditions. It was then that an IV tech mentioned they should give Glutathione a try. Naturally produced by the body, Glutathione is a powerful and vital antioxidant that fights free radical damage and oxidative stress in the body, which is the source of sickness and disease. Glutathione stores go down when the body is overtaxed with free radicals, leaving the immune system under siege and leading to illness. After that initial IV with Glutathione, Melody felt better for the first time in a long time. There was finally some hope. She knew she was on to something.
12
+ Her Lightbulb Moment
13
+ A quick google search of the world “Glutathione” and Melody found Dr. Nayan Patel’s book the Glutathione Revolution on audible. She had a 3,000-mile drive home to Nashville and listened to the whole book and found that it explained so many health conditions in her family tree.  Dr. Patel explained how Glutathione works to detoxify and balance the body – and what happens with this Master Antioxidant is lacking. With a kitchen full of supplements that hadn’t helped her, she gave Glutathione a try  – but first reached out to Auro Wellness.
14
+ Enter Dr. Nayan Patel
15
+ Melody called Auro and ended up talking directly with Dr. Nayan Patel, founder of Auro Wellness and a Pharmacist who has been studying glutathione for three decades. They talked through Melody’s health challenges for 45 minutes, which Melody calls a “life-changing event”  finally, someone was listening to her, troubleshooting with her, and providing a plan for her health.
16
+ Dr. Patel told her to start with a combination of Glutaryl and vitamin C. After some time, the Glutathione will begin to balance and detoxify her body, and as she states, he said, “Your doctor’s jaws will drop.”
17
+ The Good News
18
+ Melody is elated with the change in her health.  She has more energy, and her swelling has gone down; her body is functioning much better than before. And her doctors’ jaws did drop when her AST (liver health) number went down to a healthy 18 within a couple of months of using Glutaryl from a highly unhealthy 73 at that initial hospital visit!
19
+ The Power of Glutathione
20
+ Today, Melody says Dr. Nayan Patel is “her healer.” The power of glutathione has changed her life for the better. An essential part of that is the delivery system that Dr. Patel has worked for years to develop. Dr. Patel’s research has led to developing The Auro GSH™ Antioxidant Delivery System, a patented, first-of-its-kind technology that optimizes antioxidant absorption and efficacy. Before now, it has not been possible to deliver such high doses of Glutathione, or other antioxidants, to the skin in an absorbable way for maximum benefits. Auro GSH™is a patented solution to this challenge.  Powered by sub-nano technology, it delivers antioxidants like Glutathione to the skin more potently than ever before.
21
+ Now, Melody has the energy and the health to continue on to the next show, keep creating and sharing her art and music with her fans!
22
+ Thank you for sharing your story, Melody!  Auro Wellness is cheering you on every step of the way!

+ Rory Carruthers is a 7x Bestselling Author and, as creator of The Bestseller Method, has helped over 1000 business owners create over one billion in revenue. His work in sales and marketing has put him on the map; he’s been featured in major media outlets, including Forbes, Entrepreneur, and INC.
6
+ However, this hardworking entrepreneur hit a wall a couple of years ago. Brain fog and fatigue took over, and from someone “firing on all cylinders, all the time,” it stopped him in his tracks.
7
+ “I went from 16-hour work days with no problem to 2-hour work days in the blink of an eye. The brain fog has made it beyond difficult to focus, which is usually a strength of mine.”
8
+ This brain fog soon became detrimental to his career-executive functioning went right out the door. Memory issues led to forgetting appointments and client projects. Many days required several hour naps to make it through; some days, it was hard for him to speak. His good days were few and far between-getting him to the point where he would only have one “good” day per month.
9
+ Desperate for a solution, Rory went to the doctor; with no answers, he headed to another doctor until finally, he had visited seventeen doctors and taken hundreds of tests. Every proposed solution failed; there was still no answer as to what was happening to his brain function.
10
+ “I was desperate to feel like my old self again. To run my business to my high standards and be there daily for my family.”
11
+ By chance, Rory was introduced to Dr. Nayan Patel of Auro Wellness. Dr. Patel has been studying Glutathione for over 20 years. The naturally occurring antioxidant, the “Master Antioxidant,” plays a massive role in overall health, vibrancy, and cognitive function.
12
+ “Dr. Patel called me within 10 minutes of emailing some questions. That type of service is nearly non-existent today. Not only did he answer my questions, but he really listened and empathized with my situation. He gave recommendations beyond the scope of his products, showing that he genuinely cares.”
13
+ Glutathione for Brain Fog
14
+ The detoxifying qualities of Glutathione create homeostasis in cells and tissues, “clearing out” the free radicals that want to tax the body by creating oxidative stress. Oxidative stress has a hand in contributing to cognitive decline and memory issues. Studies show that Glutathione’s detoxifying qualities can help to maintain cognitive function. While Glutathione is a naturally occurring antioxidant in the body, it not only declines with age but also declines the more the body “uses up” Glutathione stores to battle against free radicals.

+ Based on his extensive research, Dr. Patel developed a way to supplement the body with Glutathione for better health and cognitive function, with optimal absorption and efficacy. The Auro GSH™ Antioxidant Delivery System, a patented, first-of-its-kind technology, is the delivery for Auro’s Glutaryl, a patented antioxidant spray that harnesses the power of Glutathione so the skin can absorb it more potently than ever before.
16
+ After talking to Dr. Patel, Rory was ready to try Glutaryl. “I was excited to try Glutaryl, but I was also skeptical that it would do anything or that I would have an adverse reaction since that has been my experience with various treatments for the last two years. The bottle arrived, and I started using it within minutes. I followed Dr. Patel’s protocol and noticed something was different after about five minutes.”
17
+ Rory first noticed that the pain in the arch of his left foot stopped hurting, and his energy felt a little higher. The following day, he felt more clear-headed, and his brain was firing in ways it hadn’t in the last two years, with a sense of clarity in his thoughts. Each day since, there has been a noticeable improvement.
18
+ Proven Results Using Glutaryl
19
+ “Now, this isn’t only my subjective feelings about it. A week before starting Glutaryl, I started brain training that measures the blood oxygen levels in my brain’s prefrontal cortex, concentration levels, and neural activity. Within a few days of starting Glutaryl, my blood flow and concentration levels more than tripled, and my neural activity doubled. I sent the results to Dr. Patel because it was hard to believe such a drastic improvement.”
20
+ Rory has made zero changes in supplements, medications, and diet except for his use of Glutaryl-and did not use any other therapy or inventions.
21
+ “My goal was to know 100% if the Glutaryl works without muddying the waters. For me, it works great. I’ve been completing projects hanging over my head for the past two years. I’m thinking clearly and making better decisions. I’m feeling like the person I used to be,  and it’s all thanks to Glutaryl and Dr. Patel.”
22
+ Four sprays of Glutaryl a day may be what your body needs to function optimally. To learn more about the incredible effects of Glutathione on the body, read Dr. Nayan Patel’s The Glutathione Revolution.

+ Depletion Of Glutathione: Factors that Cause it
4
+ Glutathione. Chances are you’ve heard about it, but do you know what it is?
5
+ The naturally occurring Master Antioxidant is a tripeptide composed of three amino acids: cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. It powerfully battles free radicals to maintain cellular health – protecting cells’ overall well-being for optimal functioning.
6
+ Without good cell health, you can’t have good health.
7
+ Making sure there is not Depletion of Glutathione is essential and VITAL to make this happen.
8
+ What Causes Depletion of Glutathione
9
+ Why we need to care about Depletion of Glutathione:
10
+ When Glutathione is not plentifully available to battle against free radicals and fight off oxidative stress, the unstable molecules that produce oxidative stress are the beginning of chronic and degenerative diseases, lower energy, and even wrinkles!
11
+ The body can be affected in multiple ways, like these:
12
+ There is no wonder why the whole body is affected by Glutathione levels; the question becomes-
13
+ What can you do to stop Depletion of Glutathione?
14
+ A lot. Eat a diet rich in Glutathione-boosting foods. Make a plan to lessen stress in your life. Commit to moderate exercise and good lifestyle choices.
15
+ You can also supplement Glutathione. Glutathione is a relatively large molecule, so optimizing Glutathione delivery and absorption can be challenging. Oral supplements are one form of Glutathione; however, efficacy can be questioned since the digestive system can break down the Glutathione before it reaches the bloodstream.  IV Glutathione is another supplement option as it bypasses the digestion system. However, the length of efficacy is unclear.
16
+ Dr. Nayan Patel has studied Glutathione for over 20 years. His understanding of the profound positive effect that it can have on overall health led to his development of a topical form called Glutaryl, with the highest efficacy of Glutathione. This is due to a patented subcutaneous Auro GSH™ Antioxidant Delivery System, a first-of-its-kind technology that optimizes antioxidant absorption and efficacy. The protocol of four sprays daily can be the difference in better health and vitality. Glutaryl is proven, with a recent pilot study finding that Glutaryl improves immune function.
17
+ Focus on your actions to ensure that Glutathione is on your side. From lifestyle choices to Glutaryl, there are many ways to improve levels. Start today!

3
+ How Glutathione Naturally Works to Detox Your Liver
4
+ Glutathione (GSH) is a Master Antioxidant, the most essential antioxidant in the human body, with an integral role in detoxing our systems and helping to prevent disease. This naturally occurring antioxidants #1 job is fighting oxidative stress. Oxidative stress occurs when there’s an imbalance between the production of and exposure to free radicals and the body’s ability to fight them off.
5
+ Glutathione is vital for detoxifying the body, immunity, and overall health, but high levels of toxins exhaust Glutathione quickly. This imbalance causes oxidative stress, which not quickens the aging process but oxidative stress can also be responsible for sickness in virtually any part of the body, and includes:
6
+ And last but not least, Liver disease.
7
+ The Liver and Glutathione
8
+ The liver is the second-largest organ in the body with five major functions: filtration, digestion, metabolism and detoxification, protein synthesis, and storage of vitamins and minerals.
9
+ The liver is the body’s filter, and Glutathione has a massive role in helping the liver detoxify. Naturally, there is more Glutathione in the liver than in any other part of the body. GSH is vital for liver health.
10
+ Blood that leaves the stomach and intestines passes through the liver, then the blood is broken down, balanced, and “cleaned up,” and the liver creates nutrients from the blood. The amazing liver does this all on autopilot! This natural detoxification process eliminates poisons and toxins in the liver, lungs, intestines, and kidneys.
11
+ The detoxification and metabolism that happens in the liver have two phases, and GSH has a significant role in both:
12
+ Because of GSH’s prominent role in this detoxification system, it is essential to build GSH levels to aid and ensure detoxification runs smoothly.
13
+ However, as we age, we have fewer Glutathione stores. Glutathione stores can also decrease due to poor nutrition and an overabundance of free radicals like environmental toxins and stress.  The reduced ability may increase the toxic load and oxidative stress.
14
+ So, how do you increase your liver’s ability to get rid of waste and toxins with Glutathione?
15
+ Dr. Nayan Patel has studied Glutathione for nearly three decades and has developed two programs to increase glutathione stores that can significantly impact detoxification, liver health, and overall health.
16
+ The first is outlined in his book The Glutathione Revolution.
17
+ This 4-pronged approach is:
18
+ The second program is a Heavy Detox:
19
+ This is for those that have been exposed to heavy metals or something that has stressed their body with toxins. It involves a detox protocol with supportive supplements and additional methods like cryotherapy and sauna. This program is outlined in The Glutathione Revolution as well.
20
+ Glutathione is an amazing natural antioxidant, an integral component of liver health – and overall health and wellness. As studies¹ have shown, increasing Glutathione has shown to improve those with liver issues, like fatty liver disease. For optimal liver health, pay attention to how you are boosting and caring for your GSH levels!

+ Does Glutathione helps with Sleep?
4
+ Sleep and Glutathione
5
+ This is Sleep Awareness Week, the perfect time to dive deep into the power of sleep. Everyone has experienced a bad night’s sleep – and the aftermath. Low energy, a foggy head, irritability, and more. For those that experience sleep disorders or consistent nights of poor sleep, overall health and cognitive ability are greatly affected – and, ultimately, quality of life. According to the National Institute of Health, sleep is as crucial to overall health as diet and exercise.
6
+ The problem: 50 to 70 million adults in the U.S. are affected by sleep disorders. The reasons are far-reaching and include stress, physical issues, anxiety, and even too much coffee – sometimes, there is no simple explanation.
7
+ Your body goes into full repair mode while you sleep. It’s vital for optimal health, kickstarting your cognitive, physical, and emotional self. So what can you do?
8
+ Enter Glutathione
9
+ Glutathione is the Master Antioxidant naturally occurring in the body, which has a powerful job. It plays a critical role in the essential cellular processes in the body: immune function, cellular repair, and detoxification.  It reduces the long-term effects of oxidative stress on the body and is vital for good health overall.  It’s no surprise, then, that this potent antioxidant has a powerful impact on helping the body settle into a good night’s sleep.
10
+ The Glutathione Cycle and Sleep
11
+ Researchers have found that Glutathione may play an essential role in the pathophysiology of sleep disorders, with several suggesting that Glutathione is an important component of regulating sleep quality and duration. Let’s explore how-
12
+ A central role of Glutathione is to protect cells from free radicals – free radicals lead to oxidative stress in our bodies. Oxidative stress essentially “breaks down” our body – leaving us susceptible to anything from more wrinkles to significant sickness and disease. Good levels of Glutathione keep us vibrant, healthy and detoxified- and sleeping well.
13
+ Fighting free radicals when the body is under sleep duress takes more antioxidants- like Glutathione. If sleep deprivation, insomnia, and other free radicals are chipping away at your Glutathione levels, Glutathione levels will decline.  Less Glutathione means getting good sleep is more challenging – as studies show. It’s a vicious sleep cycle.
14
+ Studies show that Glutathione is a sleep-promoting substance, and rising levels of Glutathione increase the deep sleep where cognitive recovery occurs. In turn, it can be a GOOD cycle if Glutathione levels are thriving! Good leads to better; as we increase our sleep, our bodies naturally produce Glutathione! It’s a win-win; increased Glutathione means we can reach that deep sleep our mind needs for cognitive recovery through the night.
15
+ Notably, the three amino acids that make up Glutathione: glycine, glutamate, and cysteine, all have their own properties that contribute to inducing better sleep. Glutamate helps suppress neuronal activity and increases calming alpha waves, making falling asleep easier. Glycine helps increase serotonin levels. Cysteine has a role in protecting neurons from oxidative stress.
16
+ Glutathione’s function is to powerfully detoxify the body, fight free radicals and help the body live in homeostasis, where good deep sleep is found.
17
+ How do you increase Glutathione for better sleep?
18
+ Great sleep starts today. Help your body detoxify, fight free radicals, and fall into a deep, healthy slumber with Glutathione.

3
+ 3 Common Causes of Forehead Wrinkles (and What to Do About Them)
4
+ Our foreheads are one of the first places many people notice fine lines and wrinkles. Millions of products tout their ability to erase this stubborn problem. But without understanding forehead wrinkle causes, it’s difficult to know which wrinkle remedy to go for.
5
+ Forehead Wrinkle Causes, Prevention, and Treatment
6
+ According to research examining temporary vs permanent wrinkles, these stubborn marks happen as we perform the same muscle movements over time. When it comes to forehead wrinkles, this means that our repeated facial expressions crease the skin. Over the years, skin loses its ability to bounce back into shape.
7
+ Here are some of the major reasons your skin loses its ability to bounce back and how you can address them.
8
+ Aging is the most well known (and impossible to avoid) cause of forehead wrinkles. The Mayo Clinic describes what aging can do to the skin:
9
+ “As you get older, your skin naturally becomes less elastic and more fragile. Decreased production of natural oils dries your skin and makes it appear more wrinkled. Fat in the deeper layers of your skin diminishes. This causes loose, saggy skin and more-pronounced lines and crevices.”
10
+ While we can’t turn back the clock, we can support our skin as we age. Be sure to use sunscreen and look for products with ingredients like retinol, Vitamin C, and ceramides. You should also be sure to get plenty of glutathione (keep reading to learn more)!
11
+ External stresses can have a serious impact not only on our overall health, but also the appearance of our skin.
12
+ While it’s important to get Vitamin D, the sun can be highly damaging to skin. Extended or even mild sun exposure without proper protection releases free radicals that can harm our cellular DNA, a process called oxidative stress. Not only does this harm our health, it leaves skin dull and dry.
13
+ Fortunately, sunscreen and protective clothing really help us out here. In fact, a 2013 study in Australia found that people who used sunscreen every day had fewer signs of skin aging than those who used it occasionally, even years down the line!
14
+ The American Academy of Dermatology Association recommends wearing a broad spectrum sunscreen with at least 30SPF to protect yourself from potential skin cancer and future wrinkles. Wearing hats and long sleeves or scheduling outdoor activities for morning or later afternoon will also help you safely get those rays!
15
+ In today’s modern world, it’s virtually impossible to avoid pollution and toxins that can overwhelm our body’s detoxification system and leave us with enough free radicals to cause oxidative stress.
16
+ However, we can try to limit exposure to certain chemicals in the products we use, including:
17
+ Glutathione is one of our best defenses against oxidative stress, gobbling up free radicals and boosting other antioxidants. This protects our skin’s natural abilities to heal and regenerate, leading to more radiant, younger-looking skin and preserving the elasticity that prevents wrinkles from forming!
18
+ Unfortunately, many people don’t have all the glutathione they need, particularly as age diminishes our ability to synthesize it.
19
+ Be sure to get plenty of fresh foods, particularly those rich in amino acids. Some foods to go for include:
20
+ Transdermal sprays and creams like Auro’s patented Skincare Protocol and GSH Spray are the safest and most effective supplements for glutathione. Using sub-nanotechnology, these formulations provide a reduced (and thus easily absorbed) form of glutathione both directly to problem skin areas and then into the rest of the body.
21
+ With Auro Skincare, you can easily address the root cause of wrinkles while giving your skin all the premium skincare ingredients it craves! Simply spray and move on with your day!
22
+ To learn more, check out “Glutathione Benefits for Skin” or get the full story on glutathione (and what it does for skin) in Auro founder Dr. Nayan Patel’s Glutathione Revolution.

+ Avoid Botox With These Treatments for Forehead Wrinkles
4
+ Forehead wrinkles are one of the most common and noticeable signs of skin aging. There are many remedies for forehead wrinkles, from homemade kitchen concoctions to perhaps the most famous aesthetic procedure, Botox injections. But not all of these solutions are reliable or safe. (Certainly, not all of them are affordable!) Luckily, there’s new solutions available – like glutathione (GSH) – that can help you get rid of forehead wrinkles without Botox!
5
+ Why We Get Wrinkles
6
+ Generally speaking, there are two types of wrinkles: temporary and permanent.
7
+ Temporary wrinkles, as the name indicates, change over short periods of time. One study indicates that wrinkles can be “transient”, perhaps appearing when we use forehead and eyebrow muscles to look upwards. These don’t seem to have as much to do with overall skin health so much as how our muscles are moving.
8
+ Permanent wrinkles, however, present more of a challenge. We get these wrinkles primarily from age and exposure to sun and pollution, particularly in places where our skin is frequently subject to stretching and movement. As we age and our skin accumulates damage, we lose elasticity and collagen production. This makes it harder for our skin to bounce back and eventually, it just doesn’t anymore.
9
+ How to Get Rid of Forehead Wrinkles without Botox
10
+ Botox is a medication made from a toxin called onobotulinumtoxinA (the same toxin that causes botulism). When injected into a muscle, it temporarily prevents the muscle from moving. While it’s also used to treat a variety of medical issues, it’s best known for its ability to smooth skin and reduce wrinkles.
11
+ While Botox injections for wrinkles has been a popular treatment since the early 2000s, it certainly isn’t pain or risk free. There is also evidence to suggest that it works better as a preventative than restorative measure, so it may not be ideal for those concerned with wrinkles they already have.
12
+ If you want to learn how to get rid of wrinkles without Botox, here are three of the most popular alternative solutions:
13
+ Surgery
14
+ Surgery options, including skin tightening and facelifts, can be effective in removing forehead wrinkles, but they are not without risk. Like all surgical procedures, there are a number of associated dangers.
15
+ Lasers and chemical peels
16
+ Targeted lasers and chemical peels are designed to smooth the skin surface. This study, for example, looked at laser treatments and found promising results. But this wasn’t entirely effective and caused occasional burns. Additionally, there is no data on long term effectiveness but a high potential to be very irritating.
17
+ Over-the-counter and prescription wrinkle products
18
+ At-home skincare products are often the safest and easiest option for wrinkle treatments. However, not all products produce results. If you’re looking for proven results, it’s important to use skincare products that contain effective ingredients. One of the most promising ingredients to come on the market in recent years is glutathione!
19
+ Glutathione fights the root cause of wrinkles and other signs of skin aging. As we age, our ability to generate new skin cells and collagen declines as damage from UV rays and pollution accumulates, leaving skin looking dull, discolored, and wrinkled. But higher levels of GSH boost cellular repair and turnover, reducing wrinkles and improving skin elasticity, tightness, and plumpness.
20
+ Many studies have backed this up, indicating that GSH supplements can create significant improvements in skin appearance, including lightening dark spots and evening overall tone.
21
+ This is why we developed our patented Auro Skincare Protocol and our targeted Auro spray. Using innovative sub-nanotechonology, these formulas provide a highly absorbable form of GSH along with proven wrinkle-fighting ingredients that boost collagen and cell turnover. These include topical retinoids (a form of Vitamin A), coconut oil, and Vitamins C and E.
22
+ With Auro Skincare, you can easily address the root cause of skin aging signs. This means getting rid of forehead wrinkles and other problem spots without Botox or other invasive procedures.

+ Glutaryl Stands Out as the Preferred Approach for Glutathione Intake
4
+ Glutathione is a fantastic antioxidant produced by our bodies.  It’s often referred to as the “Master Antioxidant” because of its powerful ability to remove harmful toxins we encounter daily in an incredibly effective way.
5
+ This superhero antioxidant is found in nearly every cell in our body. It protects against the stress caused by various factors such as UV exposure, everyday stress, alcohol consumption, and more. By balancing these free radicals, Glutathione allows the body to detoxify cells, preventing oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is a significant factor in developing disease, sickness, and accelerated aging.
6
+ For Better Health, Keep Glutathione Levels Robust
7
+ For all of the fantastic effects of Glutathione, the problem is this: Glutathione levels decline,  making our bodies more susceptible to oxidative stress and all the dangers that come with it.
8
+ Glutathione levels decline due to:
9
+ Supplementing with Glutathione is a powerful remedy for declining levels. However, there are three forms of supplementation: oral, IV, and topical, and they get different results.
10
+ Definitive information regarding the efficacy of Glutathione supplementation has not been readily available- but, with a recent pilot study using Auro Wellness Glutaryl topical application, results are in, proving that Glutaryl is powerfully affecting the body’s antioxidant fighting power.
11
+ Pilot Study Proves Efficacy of Glutaryl Topical Glutathione Supplementation
12
+ The study, titled “Topical Absorption of Glutathione–Cyclodextrin Nanoparticle Complex in Healthy Human Subjects Improves Immune Response against Mycobacterium avium Infection,” was conducted to determine whether topical supplement Glutaryl could protect cells from damage.  The study measured if Glutaryl can help fight infections caused by Mycobacterium bacteria. The test was conducted by having healthy people apply topical Glutathione Glutaryl over three days while another healthy group used a  placebo  – or fake treatment. Blood samples were taken on all participants before and after.
13
+ The test determined that the blood from the people who did use Glutaryl was better at getting rid of the mycobacterium bacteria, and it increased the levels of Glutathione in certain types of blood cells and decreased a marker of cell damage (MDA) within 72 hours. Those using Glutathione also had increased levels of some immune system chemicals in the blood.  These proven therapeutic effects for immunity using topical Glutaryl show its effectiveness.
14
+ On the contrary, in a study of IV supplementations, results have found that none of the Glutathione ended up in the red blood cells (RBC), and all of it stayed in the liquid part of the blood (plasma). They also noticed that the effects of the Glutathione in the blood only lasted for a short time, around 14.1 minutes +/- 9 minutes.
15
+ Oral supplementation of Glutathione is unproven as well. A clinical trial of Glutathione with oral supplements showed an increase only in the plasma and no increase in the red blood cells (RBCs), questioning the impact of oral supplementation as it can be broken down during delivery, thus reducing potency.
16
+ The Auro GSH™ Antioxidant Delivery System
17
+ What sets Glutaryl apart is the patented delivery system. Dr. Nayan Patel has been studying Glutathione for decades. He is a leading expert worldwide on the transformative effects that robust levels of this Master Antioxidant can have on the body. Glutathione is a  large molecule, and efficacy is determined by its ability to get through the transdermal barrier, optimizing antioxidant absorption.  He developed the  Auro GSH™ Antioxidant Delivery System, a patented, first-of-its-kind technology to do just this.
18
+ The delivery system also protects Glutathione from oxidation, maintaining its integrity during delivery to provide maximum potency. Glutathione is typically highly reactive to oxidation, making it difficult to stabilize. Still, Auro’s Glutaryl technology uniquely solves this challenge with a breakthrough preservation method to achieve its fullest effects.
19
+ Auro’s patented Glutaryl is the proven, most robust, and effective way to get Glutathione into the system to fight free radicals and help the body against oxidative stress. It can be a powerful ally in anyone’s health arsenal.
20
+ The measured amount of active Glutathione (rGSH) in the blood cells of people who used either a placebo (12 people) or GSH-CD (13 people) 72 hours after the first application:

+ Spotlight on Glutathione
4
+ Glutathione – If you are interested in longevity, you’ve probably heard about it. In fact, the word Glutathione has been searched over 45 million times!
5
+ Why? Well, this Master Antioxidant is getting the accolades it deserves. It is a naturally occurring antioxidant produced by the liver that detoxifies the body – affecting overall health in numerous ways. Dr. Nayan Patel has studied Glutathione for decades. He powerfully outlines his findings in The Glutathione Revolution – a guidebook to understanding how this antioxidant affects overall vitality.  As scientists advance research impacting our health and longevity, more and more information about how Glutathione is also uncovered.
6
+ Here’s what you need to know-
7
+ Glutathione: The Facts
8
+ Glutathione, produced by the liver, has the job of ridding the body of toxins – making it vitally important to the immune system’s proper functioning and building and repairing tissues. Found in almost every body cell, Glutathione allows the body to detoxify cells and keeps us healthy, fighting against the free radicals that stress the body. These free radicals can be anything from UV exposure, everyday stress, alcohol, and more.
9
+ Finding the Balance
10
+ Free radicals are unstable atoms that can damage cells. The free radicals take electrons from other molecules, leaving them stressed and unstable. The chemical reactions that create energy production are a primary source of free radicals, but lifestyle choices and stress of modern life tip the scales further. Oxidative stress occurs when the body does not have ample Glutathione antioxidant fighting power to combat free radicals.
11
+ So here’s the gist – our body creates its own free radicals, add on the external free radicals that besiege our bodies. This sets the stage for adverse effects on the body, from low energy levels and dull skin to chronic and degenerative diseases. On top of that, as we age, naturally occurring Glutathione levels wane. Our essential free radical fighter loses its fighting power when we need it the most.
12
+ The key is to find homeostasis.  When we have plentiful Glutathione antioxidants, the body can neutralize stressors. What does this mean for you? Glutathione is a vital detoxifier, protector, energizer, and beautifier, so increasing levels leads to better overall health. This includes the ability to battle against disease and sickness and ultimately have better energy, sleep, and even smoother skin!
13
+ So the big question – how do we increase our vitality-inducing Glutathione?
14
+ You CAN have an Impact on Your Glutathione Levels
15
+ Here’s how to work to reduce your oxidative stress load. Living a healthy lifestyle that does not need increased detoxification is critical.
16
+ Now you know what the hype is about: Glutathione is your best defense against free radical damage – and Glutaryl and Glutaryl + have the delivery you need to make an impact. Glutathione and good health go hand in hand!

+ Does Glutathione Help Acne?
4
+ Acne is one of the most common skin complaints. While it’s usually associated with the awkward years of puberty, the truth is that it can plague people of any age and show up anywhere on the body. In recent years, more people are turning to glutathione (GSH) for a solution to their acne problems. Let’s take a look at how glutathione interacts with our skin and how it can treat this often-stubborn problem.
5
+ How Glutathione Works in Your Skin
6
+ Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant and an important element in maintaining overall health. GSH appears in every cell of the body, where it regulates cell function and eliminates harmful free radicals. Free radicals occur whenever the skin is damaged by internal factors like poor nutrition or external factors like sun exposure or pollution.
7
+ If there is not enough GSH, free radicals can grow out of control, leading to oxidative stress and further damage to cells and DNA. Higher levels of oxidative stress are linked to chronic inflammation and health problems, including acne.
8
+ Higher GSH levels, however, mean the body is better able to eliminate free radicals and generate new skin cells to replace aged and damaged ones. This is particularly important as we age, since the cumulative effects of sun and pollution exposure often do not appear until long after they occur, just when our body’s ability to create GSH declines.
9
+ What Acne is and How It Develops
10
+ Acne is a general term that refers to blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples. Blackheads and whiteheads pop up when pores get clogged. Research indicates that people with more severe or widespread acne have more significant markers of systemic oxidative stress, including GSH deficiency (as measured through blood samples). Bacteria can also inflame pores, creating pus and pimples. In more severe cases, patients can develop painful bumps under the skin with pus (cystic lesions) or without (nodules).
11
+ Aside from physical discomfort, these unsightly blemishes can make it difficult to feel confident in our appearance. They can also be very persistent: just when it seems one area is improving, another often pops up.
12
+ Acne is often a response to fluctuating hormones, which is why it’s a common problem for teens and young adults. But it can also indicate underlying health problems, particularly for older adults.
13
+ Less Glutathione Can Mean More Acne
14
+ In one study, patients with acne had lower levels of glutathione. This is a significant finding since it’s long been hypothesized that oxidative stress and high levels of free radicals can contribute to acne breakouts. Essentially, if our levels of glutathione aren’t sufficient to control our levels of oxidative stress and free radicals, we may be more likely to experience acne.
15
+ Using Glutathione for Acne Relief
16
+ The most effective method of supplementing glutathione for acne (or anything else) is applying it to the skin as a cream, lotion or spray, which makes it very convenient for acne treatment.
17
+ Auro Skincare is the only brand on the market to leverage transdermal glutathione with other vital skin nutrients like vitamins E and C. With special formulations for the beginning and end of your day, these creams ensure your skin gets the maximum possible protection from external dangers and boost skin healing overnight. If you have struggled to find an answer to stubborn acne, glutathione may just be the key!

+ Oxidative Stress and Exercise: How Glutathione Acts as a Shield
4
+ With the new year starting, people are adding new routines around exercise. It is true, that Intense workouts can boost health in many ways. They can burn calories, build muscle, improve heart health, boost metabolism, and more. What’s happening inside the body is a careful balance of reactions that can mean many good things for the athlete. Integral to the word “balance” is the protective role of the body’s Master Antioxidant, Glutathione. It keeps the free radicals, Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), that result from intense exercise from having what can ultimately be an unhealthy impact. Glutathione naturally shields the body from an overabundance of ROS, which means intense workouts that produce positive effects for the athlete, potentially protecting from muscle damage, fatigue, and more.
5
+ If pushing your body for better health is in your future, it’s time to understand the powerful role that Glutathione can play in getting the best results for optimal athletic recovery by:
6
+ Understanding ROS Effects on the Athlete
7
+ While exercising, the body converts increased oxygen to energy. This metabolic process releases free radicals, called Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), which are unstable atoms that seek to steal electrons from healthy cells and tissues. When exercise-induced, these highly reactive molecules can also have positive and negative effects.
8
+ Positive ROS effects on an athlete:
9
+ ROS can have positive effects by triggering adaptations in the body, including improved endurance and enhanced muscle growth. The study “Antioxidants and Sport Performance” states that ROS can:
10
+ ROS can also have adverse effects on the athlete. The body creates antioxidants to balance free radicals. When the athlete pushes the body into intense or prolonged exercise, the body does not have sufficient antioxidants to balance the overproduction of ROS. The ROS steal electrons from healthy cells and tissues. This imbalance leads to oxidative stress. This oxidative stress means that ROS overabundance can have the opposite effect, adversely affecting the athlete’s body and recovery.
11
+ Oxidative Stress, The Athlete, and Glutathione
12
+ Oxidative stress on an athlete’s body can take them out of the game – literally and figuratively! Performance suffers for many reasons. Oxidative stress causes:
13
+ Glutathione Acts as Shield or Optimal Athletic Performance
14
+ Glutathione’s cleansing power is involved in almost every aspect of the body’s health because of its role in numerous biological processes and functions. When the level and length of exercise can be counterbalanced by the antioxidants in the athlete’s system, the body is in a state of balance. Glutathione’s antioxidant balancing role is powerfully involved in many biological processes and functions- and almost every aspect of health, including heart health, nerve function, and even sleep.
15
+ For the athlete, its role in promoting immune system function, reducing inflammation, and improving muscle recovery is vital to optimal recovery and performance. Glutathione’s shielding power against ROS can create positive reactions to the exercise that can be helpful to performance, including:
16
+ Ensuring High Glutathione Levels for Athletes
17
+ To balance free radicals for optimal athletic recovery, athletes must ensure that they provide their bodies with ample ways to improve Glutathione levels. While Glutathione is naturally occurring, it’s depleted all day, every day, by free radicals in our environment, in our food, from the sun, toxins like alcohol and tobacco, and so much more. And, of course, intense workouts deplete levels as well.
18
+ To ensure Glutathione’s shielding effects, it’s crucial to help the body naturally boost Glutathione levels. They can eat Glutathione rich foods, reduce stress, avoid toxins in the environment as much as possible, and prioritize sleep and a healthy lifestyle. And it doesn’t stop there.
19
+ The body can supplement Glutathione, which is particularly important for athletes taxing their levels through intense workouts. Auro’s Glutaryl is a subdermal form of Glutathione applied to the skin from a dropper. While IV and oral Glutathione supplements are unproven, a recent study proves Glutaryl’s subdermal delivery is effective. The study, titled “Topical Absorption of Glutathione–Cyclodextrin Nanoparticle Complex in Healthy Human Subjects Improves Immune Response against Mycobacterium avium Infection,” determined that the blood from the people who did use Glutaryl was better at getting rid of the mycobacterium bacteria. It increased the levels of Glutathione in certain types of blood cells and decreased a marker of cell damage (MDA) within 72 hours. Those using Glutathione also had increased levels of some immune system chemicals in the blood.  In this particular study, the effects of Glutaryl on immunity were studied. Its proven therapeutic effects prove its ability to enter the bloodstream and detoxify at a potent level, boosting levels for increased free radical fighting power for far-reaching effects.
20
+ For athletes pushing their bodies to the limit, Gluatryl is a proven Glutathione supplement that can help shield the body from the damaging effects of free radicals and take fitness to the next level.

3
+ Glutathione and Aging: Can it Slow Down the Aging Process?
4
+ Glutathione is a naturally occurring antioxidant in the body that plays a massive role in overall health and vibrancy. In a nutshell, the detoxifying qualities of Glutathione create homeostasis in our cells and tissues, “clearing out” the free radicals that want to tax our bodies by creating oxidative stress.
5
+ This also means that Glutathione is a powerful anti-aging force.  It helps us stave off illness, disease, and even fine lines and wrinkles as it protects the entire body on a cellular level.
6
+ ROS, Mitochondria, and Aging
7
+ To completely understand this, let’s look at Mitochondria and ROS production.
8
+ Mitochondria is where energy production occurs. ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species) are chemically reactive molecules in the body that are a natural by-product of cell metabolic processes – mostly aerobic respiration or the process that uses oxygen to convert nutrients into energy.  Here’s the confusing part – while ROS is an essential process for the body, it can also harm the body as it is a cause of oxidative stress. This happens when antioxidants can’t keep the ROS levels in check.  The ROS can damage the mitochondria, or the “power plants” of our cells, and even the DNA inside them, making our cells work less efficiently.
9
+ This excessive ROS production is due to a lack of antioxidant defense from Glutathione and other antioxidants. And it’s serious – it can be linked to not just health conditions like cancer and cardiovascular disease, but it causes accelerated aging AND age-related degenerative diseases.
10
+ Apoptosis and Glutathione
11
+ Apoptosis is a natural process in our bodies of pre-programmed cell death. Cells that are dying this way have less of the protective Glutathione. Many studies explore the link between lower Glutathione levels to cells with increased sensitivity to apoptosis and that elevated Glutathione levels protect against apoptosis. Information points to the fact that elevated Glutathione helps provide the fighting power that might delay this cell death process that happens when aging.
12
+ In addition to ROS and apoptosis, the free radicals that deplete Glutathione and can effects accelerated aging include:
13
+ – Environmental factors
14
+ – Lifestyle factors over time: alcohol, sun, stress
15
+ – Inflammation in the body
16
+ All of this evidence points to the fact that optimal anti-aging from the inside out occurs when Glutathione levels are thriving. A January 2022 study on Glutathione and brain function shows that harmful free radicals, especially those made from oxygen, are a big part of age-related changes and the development of certain brain diseases such as Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and Alzheimer’s. To fight against these harmful molecules, our body uses Glutathione to neutralize them, making them less damaging.
17
+ An abundance of Glutathione means the detoxification of cells by binding to and neutralizing toxins, heavy metals, and other harmful compounds. Cells are not bombarded, which can mean a slower aging process.  Unburdered cells also indicate better immunity function. A robust immune function is a key to slower, healthier, more vibrant aging.
18
+ So how do we ensure we have enough Glutathione in our bodies to fight the cumulative effects of oxidative stress – so it doesn’t impact the health and function of cells and tissues to advance aging, sickness, and disease? Even DE-CELERATE aging?
19
+ Increasing Glutathione, of course!
20
+ More Glutathione, Please.
21
+ Adding Glutathione levels is more challenging than just popping a vitamin. It is a relatively large and complex molecule, which makes it difficult for the body to absorb. When taken orally, the body is inefficient at absorbing it through the intestinal lining. Additionally, the amino acids that create Glutathione can break down before they are absorbed into the body.  IV Glutathione has shown that it might have short-term effects but does not provide long-standing efficacy.
22
+ Dr. Nayan Patel has studied Glutathione for 20+ years, and his decades of research led to the development of The Auro GSH™ Antioxidant Delivery System. This patented, first-of-its-kind technology optimizes antioxidant absorption and efficacy with subdermal delivery. Auro’s patented Glutaryl is a powerful transdermal supplement to improve health and impact aging, and in a recent pilot study, proven to help with immunity.

+ Glutathione and Alcohol: Safeguarding the Liver
4
+ Many of us have a love/hate relationship with alcohol. It’s an enjoyable way to socialize, and it can bring on a happy “buzz,” – but let’s be honest, alcohol is damaging the body and mind in many ways, causing free radicals that cause damage to cells and tissues. However,  the body naturally produces a powerful antioxidant called Glutathione, and boosting the levels of this Master Antioxidant can help the liver fight back from the destructive effects of alcohol. It plays a prominent role in helping the liver to cleanse and reduce the damaging effects of free radicals created by alcohol consumption. More and more studies like Alcohol, Oxidative Stress, and Free Radical Damage support this, and Auro’s Glutathione supplement, Glutaryl, with proven efficacy, helps the liver battle against the effects of alcohol.
5
+ Alcohol and the Liver
6
+ The liver takes the brunt of metabolizing alcohol with the critical job of breaking it down so that it can be removed from the body. The liver has a powerful filtration system. However, alcohol consumption can lead to inflammation and destruction of the liver over time. Even casual drinking is taxing the liver as it needs to detoxify the free radicals from alcohol.  The body’s naturally produced antioxidant called Glutathione can help balance the effects of alcohol consumption by reducing the impact of the toxins produced by the breakdown of alcohol. This is crucial because when the liver cannot properly detoxify, the following can occur – and most people don’t notice the symptoms until it’s too late:
7
+ So what exactly happens when alcohol enters the liver – and how can Glutathione help?
8
+ The Process: Alcohol Intake and the Liver
9
+ Glutathione and The Liver
10
+ Glutathione acts as an antioxidant by neutralizing harmful free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS), thus helping to protect the liver from damage. However, as we age, the natural production of Glutathione in the body decreases. This is due to the natural aging process for one. This reduction is also compounded as Glutathione is also used up in response to the free radicals generated by factors like environmental toxins and stress that we encounter on a daily basis. When you add excessive alcohol consumption to this growing list of factors that deplete antioxidants, the liver struggles to keep up, especially in cases of heavy alcohol consumption.
11
+ Increasing Glutathione Levels to Protect the Liver
12
+ Increasing Glutathione levels in the body can help protect the liver from oxidative stress and damage, with many studies supporting this. Glutathione in the treatment of liver diseases: insights from clinical practice states, “Judging on the basis of the evidence obtained from experimental research and previous clinical studies, GSH administration seems to be a promising strategy to recover oxidative stress-induced liver damages in alcoholic and non-alcoholic liver diseases.” Glutathione supplementation is a critical part of a  two-pronged approach to help the liver stay healthy and combat alcohol damage, which includes:
13
+ Don’t underestimate Glutathione’s role in protecting the liver against damage from alcohol.
14
+ Consider Glutaryl to provide detoxifying power to your liver – and the whole body – against the effects of alcohol and the many toxins that bombard us daily.

+ Glutathione and Anxiety: A Natural Approach
4
+ According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, over 40 million adults in the U.S. experience an anxiety disorder, and levels are rising. In 2024, 43% of adults reported feeling more anxious than the previous year. With anxiety affecting so many, there’s a growing interest in finding natural ways to manage it. Research increasingly highlights a connection between oxidative stress—an imbalance caused by harmful free radicals in the body—and inflammation, which can contribute to anxiety. This has brought attention to natural antioxidants, particularly Glutathione, often called the “master antioxidant,” and its role in battling against damaging oxidative stress in the brain. Exciting information is linking the impact of antioxidants on mental health, and Glutathione is shown to be providing an adjunct therapy that is helping people manage anxiety.
5
+ Understanding Glutathione’s Role in the Body
6
+ Every day, our bodies are besieged by harmful free radicals – unstable atoms that can cause damage to cells, proteins, and DNA. They cause damage to the body on every level, leading to illness, disease, and accelerated aging, among other outcomes.  Normal metabolic processes produce these free radicals, but most prominently, they are caused by environmental toxins, including UV rays, pollution, alcohol, tobacco, and stress.
7
+ This damaging oxidative stress affects brain health as well, leading to mood disorders like anxiety and depression and even neurodegenerative disease. The body uses powerful antioxidants like Glutathione to balance these free radicals, detoxify and neutralize them, and fend off oxidative stress damage.
8
+ Visit Auro Wellness blogs to explore everything about Glutathione.
9
+ Does Glutathione Help with Anxiety?
10
+ For many years, scientists have determined a link between low Glutathione levels and people suffering from psychological conditions that include anxiety, specifically a 2017 study regarding adolescent depression. This is because the low levels of Glutathione detrimentally affect the brain’s detox system.
11
+ Glutathione supplementation to detox the brain is the natural next step to fight free radical damage for brain health. As one noted study states, “Glutathione is commonly referred to as the principal antioxidant of the brain and, therefore, plays a critical role in maintaining redox homeostasis.” This has led to an exciting new frontier that has emerged – using Glutathione supplementation as a potentially beneficial adjunctive therapy for anxiety.
12
+ How Glutathione Works to Combat Anxiety
13
+ Glutathione helps protect the brain by clearing these harmful free radical molecules so they cannot disturb the balance of neurotransmitters and hormones that regulate stress and emotions. Increasing levels of this much-needed antioxidant are helping many feel relief from anxiety.
14
+ In addition, oxidative stress can lead to inflammation in the brain. This inflammation has been linked to numerous brain disorders, and keeping it at bay is crucial to brain health.
15
+ A study on stressed mice found that giving them NAC, a supplement that helps boost Glutathione levels, reduced anxiety-like behaviors. It worked by restoring the balance of essential brain chemicals in the hippocampus, a part of the brain involved in stress and emotions.
16
+ Oxidative stress can weaken the body’s natural defense system and impair critical biological functions, making it less effective at neutralizing harmful molecules and free radicals.
17
+ Glutathione protects cells from damage and supports brain health by neutralizing free radicals and managing oxidative stress so that it does not interfere with mood regulation. The brain is especially prone to oxidative stress caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS)—a specific type of free radical containing oxygen that is naturally generated during cellular metabolism. Due to the brain’s high oxygen consumption and abundance of unsaturated fatty acids, the brain is particularly vulnerable to oxidative damage. Glutathione plays a critical role in defending the brain by neutralizing ROS, helping to prevent cellular damage, maintaining healthy brain function, and effectively reducing oxidative stress.
18
+ Also – low Glutathione affects the energy-producing structures in brain cells, called mitochondria, which are crucial for brain health and function. Dysfunctional mitochondria due to low Glutathione levels have been linked to various neurological and mental health conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases, mood disorders, and cognitive decline.
19
+ Visit Auro Wellness blogs to learn how Glutathione reduces oxidative stress.
20
+ Oxidative stress can lead to disturbances in dopamine and serotonin neurotransmission, the critical brain chemicals that regulate stress and mood.  Glutathione helps to protect the enzymes and pathways involved in synthesizing dopamine and serotonin from oxidative damage. Glutathione prevents damage to cellular structures and maintains a healthy environment for brain cell communication, including producing and regulating neurotransmitters.
21
+ Glutathione has multiple anti-inflammatory effects, as It balances free radicals to help modulate the body’s inflammatory response, potentially reducing the inflammatory burden on cells. Chronic low-grade inflammation is often associated with a range of age-related health conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases, and has been linked to anxiety disorders. Specific markers of inflammation—like inflammatory proteins and cytokines—are often found at higher levels in people who suffer from anxiety, showing the link that inflammation plays in the development and worsening of anxiety.

+ Glutathione in Cancer Prevention and Treatment
4
+ As more and more studies are published demonstrating the numerous benefits of glutathione, many people want to know: Can glutathione help cancer patients?
5
+ But to understand the relationship between glutathione and cancer, we must first define what cancer is. According to the Mayo Clinic,
6
+ “Cancer is caused by changes (mutations) to the DNA within cells. The DNA inside a cell…contains a set of instructions telling the cell what functions to perform, as well as how to grow and divide. Errors in the instructions can cause the cell to stop its normal function and may allow a cell to become cancerous.”
7
+ Simply put, cancer occurs when cells replicate uncontrollably and do not die off when they should. These rogue cells then clump together to create tumors or spread throughout the body, invading normal tissues and causing severe damage or destruction.
8
+ The Glutathione Cancer Connection
9
+ Glutathione (GSH) is a crucial element in regulating the reactions that happen inside and among cells as they carry out tasks like releasing energy from food, repairing tissue damage, or supplying oxygen throughout the body. These reactions are critical for keeping all of our systems humming along.
10
+ However, these reactions also create a byproduct called free radicals. Free radicals are a normal part of cellular function, but if there are too many, they can disrupt and damage cells, including the DNA that dictates cell life/death cycles. This damage is called oxidative stress.
11
+ As a powerful antioxidant, GSH controls free radicals by turning them into less harmful molecules that our bodies can eliminate. This, in turn, prevents high levels of oxidative stress and helps protect cell DNA.
12
+ Glutathione Levels and the Likelihood of Developing Cancer
13
+ Since cancer and glutathione are both closely tied to cellular functions, it stands to reason that insufficient glutathione is connected to our likelihood of developing certain cancers. Research backs this up. Time after time, we find that low GSH and high levels of oxidative stress are correlated with higher risk of cancer and decreased ability to fight it.
14
+ For example, one study states that, “Colorectal cancer is associated with oxidative stress, and assessment of oxidative stress…is important for the treatment and prevention of colorectal cancer.”
15
+ In another study of oral cancer risk, researchers found that “low GSH levels, which are associated with increased oxidative stress” were also linked with a greater chance of cancer.
16
+ Glutathione as a Tool for Improving Cancer Treatment
17
+ Fortunately, medical research shows that glutathione can be a valuable tool in helping patients overcome cancer.
18
+ Higher GSH levels, for example, could make some anticancer drugs more efficient by boosting cell turnover. In other studies, GSH supplementation reduced nerve pain and overall toxicity in patients undergoing chemotherapy for colorectal and ovarian cancers. By helping patients tolerate treatments and making sure treatments are as effective as possible, GSH can thus improve the quality of life and disease outcomes.
19
+ Glutathione and Cancer Prevention
20
+ There are many factors that affect our likelihood of facing cancer including genetics, exposure to certain harmful substances, and lifestyle choices.
21
+ As we have seen, glutathione is vital for protecting cells and keeping them functioning well. In a healthy body, it helps control the free radicals and oxidative stress correlated with some types of cancer.  If you are concerned about developing cancer, do your best to keep healthy habits like eating a balanced diet and exercising regularly. Apart from this, supplementing your GSH levels can also ensure your cells have every possible defense.
22
+ To get the full details on how glutathione can help your body prevent, fight, or recover from cancer, check out Dr. Nayan Patel’s Glutathione Revolution. + Why Glutathione is Called the Master Antioxidant
4
+ There’s no shortage of health professionals and products telling us how important antioxidants are for maintaining wellness. The glutathione antioxidant (GSH), in particular, has been getting increasing attention for its position as the “Master” or “Mother” of all other antioxidants. But it isn’t always clear exactly how these substances help us and even fewer people understand how critical glutathione’s antioxidant powers really are.

+ Antioxidants are defined as “man-made or natural substances that may prevent or delay some types of cell damage” and they form a central part of our natural detoxification system.
7
+ Our cells are constantly at work digesting food, fighting foreign invaders, carrying oxygen to our tissues, and more. This work produces unstable molecules called free radicals. These are also generated when we experience trauma from injury, disease, or the many toxins that come with modern life.
8
+ Free radicals steal electrons from other molecules, damaging them in the process. Left unchecked, this can damage cell DNA and disrupt our body’s functions. We call this oxidative stress.
9
+ While some free radical activity is normal, oxidative stress can be a real health concern. Research has linked it to a variety of problems from acne to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome to Parkinson’s Disease.
10
+ Antioxidants, however, limit oxidative stress by disarming free radicals so they can be safely eliminated.
11
+ Understanding Glutathione Antioxidant Power
12
+ The glutathione antioxidant is the second most abundant molecule in the body and the first line of defense against oxidative stress.
13
+ Our bodies create glutathione using amino acids from our food. From there, it processes toxins out of the body, gobbles up free radicals, boosts cellular function, and encourages cell turnover. This means glutathione not only prevents oxidative stress but also helps to heal the damage it leaves behind.
14
+ While glutathione does a lot of detoxifying on its own, it also supports other antioxidants!
15
+ After an antioxidant donates electrons to neutralize free radicals, GSH can donate electrons to that antioxidant so that it can attack another free radical. This helps us make the most of our supply. That’s why GSH is often called “The Mother of All Antioxidants”.
16
+ When GSH donates electrons to a free radical, it creates a neutral water molecule (H2O) and a positively charged glutathione molecule. This joins with another used glutathione molecule to create GSSG (also called oxidized glutathione).
17
+ GSSG molecules stay dormant until they can grab electrons from other antioxidants and split into two recycled GSH molecules that go hunting for free radicals all over again.
18
+ Thus GSH is also called “The Master of All Antioxidants”: it decides when to boost other antioxidants and when to use them to boost itself. Combine this power with GSH’s ability to go anywhere in the body and it’s obvious why having enough glutathione is highly important for maintaining good health.
19
+ Getting Enough Glutathione (And Other Antioxidants)
20
+ As we age, our need for the glutathione antioxidant often increases just as our ability to synthesize it diminishes. If you’re concerned about getting enough GSH, there’s ways to help!
21
+ While eating certain foods can promote GSH production, you may also be interested in Auro’s patented transdermal Glutaryl spray, an easy-to-use formula created with innovative sub-nanotechnology for maximum absorption.
22
+ It’s clear that antioxidants, and glutathione in particular, certainly deserve the attention they get as important players in keeping our bodies humming along. We hope this brief introduction has helped you better understand just how they work and why it’s good to ensure you have plenty of them!

+ Glutathione Benefits: Your Essential Antioxidant
4
+ Glutathione is a potent antioxidant naturally produced by the body that is essential for detoxifying the body and maintaining overall health. Often called the “Master Antioxidant,” the benefits of Glutathione include its vital role in healthy aging, detoxification, and managing chronic conditions. Glutathione protects against oxidative stress by neutralizing free radicals—unstable molecules that can damage cells and tissues if left unchecked. These free radicals can stem from various sources, including UV exposure, stress, alcohol, and environmental toxins. It is in nearly every cell of the body, and many studies support Glutathione and its role in healthy aging and combating the oxidative stress that can lead to a cascade of health issues, making it a cornerstone of cellular protection.
5
+ What Is Glutathione and Why Is It Important?
6
+ Glutathione is produced by the liver and comprises three amino acids: cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. It plays a critical role in detoxification, supporting the immune system, aiding in tissue repair, and regulating cell function. It Influences various aspects of health, including immune defense, chronic illness prevention, neurological well-being, and even athletic performance.
7
+ Our bodies have abundant levels of Glutathione at birth. However, these levels naturally decline with age and are further depleted by free radicals generated from stress, illness, environmental toxins, and more. This decline highlights the importance of maintaining adequate Glutathione levels for long-term health and vitality.
8
+ Learn all you need to know about Glutathione.
9
+ Top Benefits of Glutathione
10
+ Glutathione is crucial in neutralizing free radicals to prevent damaging oxidative stress. Oxidative stress occurs when your body has more free radicals than can be balanced with antioxidants. Free radicals are unstable atoms that can damage cells, contributing to aging and disease. While some free radicals are naturally produced during energy creation and help fight infections, excess amounts—due to pollution, sun exposure, pesticides, and more—can overwhelm the body. Glutathione is the body’s defense to neutralize the harmful free radicals – creating homeostasis to prevent oxidative stress.
11
+ When free radicals outnumber antioxidants, oxidative stress damages proteins and DNA, setting the stage for chronic and degenerative diseases like cancer and diabetes, as well as accelerated aging.  This imbalance is also linked to various health issues, including anxiety and depression.
12
+ Discover the impact of Glutathione on anxiety.
13
+ The liver is the second-largest organ, serving as the body’s filter. Glutathione has a massive role in helping the liver cleanse.  The liver has to filter toxins we put into our bodies, such as alcohol, and the environmental toxins that enter our systems, like endocrine disruptors, including BPA, phthalates, pesticides, and heavy metals.
14
+ Liver detoxification with Glutathione occurs in two stages. First, the liver breaks the harmful matter into small pieces, generating free radicals. In this stage, the body must have ample Glutathione levels to create homeostasis. Glutathione works to balance the free radicals to limit oxidative stress. Then, the liver joins the pieces of harmful matter and prepares them for elimination, making them more water-soluble so they can be removed through urine or stool. Glutathione is once again critical in binding the toxins, neutralizing them, and getting rid of them. Glutathione is the ultimate in detoxification – flushing out free radicals and creating balance in the body. When the liver cannot detoxify properly, our bowels, energy levels, and overall health are affected.
15
+ In addition, Glutathione helps to reduce oxidative stress in the liver by neutralizing free radicals, decreasing inflammation, and controlling the progression of liver damage like Hepatitis, alcohol abuse, and fatty liver disease. Oxidative stress that leads to inflammation is a crucial contributor to the progression of liver damage.
16
+ Glutathione’s powerful detoxification abilities help balance free radicals, protecting immune cells and ensuring their effectiveness. When Glutathione levels are stable, critical immune cells like lymphocytes (T cells and B cells), macrophages, and natural killer (NK) cells remain strong and efficient, enabling them to identify and destroy pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, and cancer cells. By maintaining this robust functionality of the immune cells – the body is better equipped to fight off viral infections and recover more quickly, enhancing anti-viral defenses.
17
+ Research supports that excessive free radicals may play a central role in causing insulin resistance, diabetes, and heart disease, as oxidative stress affects insulin production and the maintenance of blood sugar levels, which leads to diabetes. Oxidative stress has a negative effect on beta cells, causing them to lose their normal function and making them less effective in insulin production. Glutathione has been shown to positively impact blood sugar management, with participants who took Glutathione supplements in a randomized control trial showing significant improvement as their bodies became more responsive to insulin.
18
+ Glutathione does the same job combating free radicals for the skin as it does for the rest of the body. Impressive Glutathione benefits include protecting skin from oxidative stress that causes aging, wrinkles, dullness, uneven tone, and rough texture. Studies show it reduces wrinkles, dark spots, and melanin production, improving elasticity and brightness.
19
+ Glutathione Benefits for Chronic Conditions
20
+ Low levels of Glutathione have been linked to various chronic health conditions. The constant accumulation of toxins that our bodies are exposed to, like pollution, poor diet, stress,  pesticides, and UV rays, can contribute to developing and exacerbating chronic illnesses. Exciting research is showing how Glutathione can benefit these chronic conditions:
21
+ How to Naturally Increase Glutathione Levels
22
+ Healthy lifestyle choices can go a long way in increasing Glutathione levels naturally.  You can begin by focusing on a diet rich in Glutathione-boosting sulfur-rich foods. Sulfur plays a vital role in Glutathione production, as it is a crucial component of the amino acids methionine and cysteine, both essential for Glutathione synthesis. You can boost your sulfur intake through various foods, including protein-rich options like beef, fish, and poultry. Vegetables are another excellent source, particularly sulfur-rich cruciferous varieties such as broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower. Allium vegetables like garlic, onions, and leeks are also packed with sulfur.
23
+ Reduce exposure to toxins when possible, avoiding environmental pollutants, heavy metals, processed food, alcohol, and tobacco. Limit UV ray exposure, moderate exercise that is not overly taxing, manage stress, and prioritize sleep. For more information on raising Glutathione levels naturally, check out Dr. Nayan Patel’s The Glutathione Revolution, an easy-to-follow Glutathione boosting plan that works for you.
24
+ Potential Side Effects and Risks
25
+ Boosting levels of this Master Antioxidant through Glutahtione-boosting foods is generally safe. No side effects have been reported with a high Glutathione intake from diet alone. Reactions to Glutathione supplementation due to allergies or excessive dosing can include side effects like headache, dizziness, skin rashes, digestive issues – and sometimes, difficulty breathing. If you have any questions about Glutathione, please consult with your doctor.
26

+ Glutathione: Cleansing the Body
4
+ Every day, our bodies are under siege. In America, stress levels are 20%  higher than the global average. This stress taxes the body, damaging the mitochondria and reducing the body’s ability to cleanse the toxins that can lead to sickness and disease.
5
+ In addition to stress, environmental toxins are coming at us from everywhere – air pollutants, lead, mercury, PCBs,  heavy metals, phthalates, synthetic chemicals, pesticides, and even the trans fats in our food. They are all further damaging the body’s ability to function optimally. And – add to the list the toxins we often willingly take on – alcohol, nicotine, excessive sun, and more!
6
+ Good health goes hand in hand with cleansing the body of toxins and creating a balance  – homeostasis – for optimal health. The heavy toxin load on our body taxes the energy powerhouse mitochondria, causing energy depletion. It also lowers our body’s ability to balance free radicals – meaning damaging oxidative stress that can lead to accelerated aging, illness, and even diseases like cancer.
7
+ Glutathione: The Ultimate “Cleaner”!
8
+ Don’t let those last few paragraphs get you down – the body produces its own “cleanser” to neutralize free radicals from toxins and facilitate excretion. It’s called Glutathione, and it’s waiting to do its job – in every cell of your body!
9
+ GSH is the body’s Master Antioxidant. Free radicals overload the cells, that leads to oxidative stress by negatively affecting the lipids, proteins, and even DNA replication. Glutathione protects the cells from free radicals by detoxifying the “bad”  – creating balance in the cell and fending off oxidative stress.
10
+ Not only are toxins from the outside of the body but the inside as well. Glutathione plays a vital role in detoxifying reactive oxygen species (ROS). ROS is part of normal cellular function, and molecules are natural byproducts of various metabolic processes in the body. The body needs a certain level of ROS. Beyond that, it becomes harmful. Glutathione plays a significant role in neutralizing ROS, protecting against oxidative damage to cells.
11
+ Glutathione: How Does it Work?
12
+ Conjugation is when the Glutathione binds to harmful components and toxins before they’re eliminated. This powerful cleansing of toxins “kicks them out” of the body before they can poison the liver, lungs, intestines, and kidneys. The Glutathione attaches to the toxic molecules, then makes them water soluble so they can easily be flushed from the body. Cleaning at its finest!
13
+ Keeping Your Glutathione Levels High
14
+ While Glutathione is our naturally occurring cleansing superpower, WE have work to do because:
15
+ With the prevalence of stress in our society, toxins in our environment, poor nutrition, and more – many people today have depleted levels of Glutathione.
16
+ You CAN work to increase your Glutathione levels to impact your health and immunity positively.
17
+ Dr. Nayan Patel has been studying Glutathione for over twenty years. In his book The Glutathione Revolution, he lays out plans to increase Glutathione levels with a multi-pronged approach:
18
+ The cleansing power of Glutathione has a massive role in keeping you in tip-top shape!  With Glutaryl, just four sprays a day makes it easy.

3
+ Why More and More Companies are Using Glutathione in Cosmetics
4
+ Glutathione (GSH) is quickly becoming one of the star ingredients in the cosmetics industry. Given its potent antioxidant and regenerative properties, this is no surprise. But what exactly are the benefits of glutathione in cosmetics? If you’ve been wondering this, you are in the right place!
5
+ Glutathione in Cosmetics Starts With Glutathione In Your Body
6
+ Glutathione is created in the liver using amino acids that we get from food. From there, it spreads into every cell in the body, where it helps regulate cellular functions like getting energy from our food or generating new cells to replace old ones. It also acts as a powerful shield against oxidative stress.
7
+ Oxidative stress comes from free radicals, a by-product of cell activity, and damage from disease or injury. In large amounts, free radicals can damage the proteins and DNA inside cells. Over time, oxidative stress can leave us much more vulnerable to problems like chronic inflammation, premature skin aging, and diseases like cancer.
8
+ Glutathione transforms free radicals into harmless molecules so the body can eliminate them. It can also recycle parts of glutathione and other amino acids, ensuring we get the most out of them.
9
+ Glutathione and Your Skin
10
+ Some of glutathione’s most visible benefits occur in the skin. Low levels of GSH and higher levels of oxidative stress are connected with many skin problems like premature aging, acne, eczema, and rosacea.
11
+ On the other hand, higher levels of GSH mean improved cell turnover and protection from skin damage caused by pollution, sun exposure, and natural aging processes.
12
+ Skin is also key to supplementing GSH. We do not absorb glutathione very well orally. Some doctors provide GSH as an IV infusion or injection, but this is not yet FDA-approved and GSH given through IV may only stay in our systems for a few hours. Transdermal formulations, however, allow us to absorb the maximum amount of glutathione and get maximum benefits.
13
+ Why is Glutathione Used in Cosmetics?
14
+ In cosmetics, glutathione is added to sprays, creams, and lotions because it can help improve signs of skin aging and preserve the collagen and elastin that keeps skin looking healthy and radiant.
15
+ It can also brighten skin. Darker skin areas like blemishes, scars, and sun spots come from melanin, which the body releases in response to skin damage. GSH controls the release of melanin and helps convert it into a lighter color.
16
+ In his own practice, Auro founder Dr. Nayan Patel has seen a remarkable improvement in the skin appearance of many clients, including long time tennis players who had accrued considerable skin damage. You can find this and much more in his comprehensive guide to GSH: Glutathione Revolution.
17
+ How to Integrate Glutathione into Your Cosmetic Routine

+ Can Glutathione Help Covid-19 Prevention and Treatment?
4
+ COVID-19 is, unsurprisingly, at the forefront of many people’s minds. Most people want to know how they can protect themselves from the virus and what supplements they should take to help with prevention and treatment. Glutathione (or GSH) is one supplement in particular that has gained a lot of buzz.
5
+ In this post, we’ll take a closer look at the relationship between glutathione and COVID-19 to see if this supplement can help with fighting the virus.
6
+ What is COVID-19 and What Symptoms Does It Cause
7
+ Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation out there, so we must define what COVID-19 is before we can understand how it interacts with glutathione. According to the CDC,
8
+ “Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that can spread from person to person. There are many types of human coronaviruses, including some that commonly cause mild upper-respiratory tract illnesses. COVID-19 is a new disease, caused by a novel (or new) coronavirus that has not previously been seen in humans.”
9
+ COVID-19 is related to cold and flu viruses and can cause similar symptoms: fever, chills, fatigue, cough, congestion, and nausea or vomiting. However, it can also create neurological symptoms like confusion, trouble breathing, or loss of taste or smell. In some cases, it causes a “cytokine storm”, a dramatic increase in inflammation that can lead to multisystem organ failure. These severe cases occur much more often in the elderly or people with certain underlying medical conditions.
10
+ The Glutathione COVID-19 Connection
11
+ Glutathione plays an important role in regulating cell redox: the reactions within and between our cells that keep our bodies functioning. One byproduct of these reactions is free radicals. Normally, GSH turns free radicals into harmless molecules and helps the body get rid of them. Too many free radicals or not enough GSH can throw cell redox out of balance, eventually leading to damaged cells, proteins, and DNA, a process called oxidative stress.
12
+ Viruses like COVID-19 infect the body by hijacking cellular processes to replicate and spread. Studies show that glutathione helps protect cells from this attack and controls oxidative stress so that the immune system can eliminate the invader. This limits the virus and may help prevent deadly cytokine storms.
13
+ In addition, patients with severe COVID-19 tend to have low glutathione levels as well as imbalances in cell redox and high oxidative stress. Low GSH can come from factors like age, prior disease, smoking, or poor diet. High viral loads may also interfere with our ability to create GSH, worsening the problem.
14
+ Can Glutathione Prevent or Treat COVID-19?
15
+ Since COVID-19 appeared recently, there is much we don’t yet know. Specifically, we do not know if glutathione supplementation on its own can reduce the chances of catching the virus or treat active cases, aside from its normal role in protecting cellular functions and eliminating free radicals. However, early data indicates that supplementing glutathione or its precursor, N-Acetylcysteine, can help patients recover from severe COVID-19 infections, perhaps by rebalancing cell redox to reduce inflammation.
16
+ The best defense against any illness is maintaining a healthy lifestyle with moderate exercise, a balanced diet, and low toxin exposure. However, this may be difficult to achieve in modern (or quarantined) life. If you are concerned that your GSH levels are not what they should be, then you may want to consider supplementation. Transdermal supplements, like Auro Wellness Glutaryl, are the most effective way to absorb glutathione so you can be sure you’re limiting oxidative stress and keeping your cells healthy.
17
+ And of course, maintain social distancing around others and wash your hands frequently. As the saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
18
+ If you’re interested in learning more about glutathione and its role in preventing and fighting illness, be sure to check out Dr. Nayan Patel’s book Glutathione Revolution.

+ What You Need to Know About Glutathione Creams
4
+ The demand for Glutathione creams and lotions has been increasing in the last several years. This is no surprise, since we’ve long known that glutathione not only improves skin appearance but also helps you function better from head to toe, inside and out. But it’s important to note that not all types of glutathione are made equally.
5
+ Keep reading to learn more about the benefits of glutathione creams and which products have the best results.
6
+ How Glutathione Helps Us
7
+ Glutathione is immensely helpful both for internal health and outward appearance. Our bodies use amino acids to build glutathione in the liver. From there, it is sent into every cell we have so that it can help regulate cell activity and manage our levels of free radicals.
8
+ Free radicals are created as a by-product of chemical reactions in the cell. This is especially true for reactions to things that stress the body like injury, disease, or the increasing amount of toxins found in everyday life. Accumulate too many free radicals and they can overwhelm our systems, damaging the proteins and DNA inside our cells. This is called oxidative stress and research has linked it to a range of health problems like acne, cancer, or asthma.
9
+ Fortunately for us, glutathione is able to find and transform free radicals into safer molecules that the body can process, limiting oxidative stress. As if that wasn’t enough, GSH also boosts cell turnover and promotes the body’s natural healing and regenerative capabilities.
10
+ These benefits have a profound impact on improving the appearance and health of our skin.
11
+ There have been many studies on the restorative and protective properties of GSH for our skin.
12
+ Which Glutathione Cream is Right for You?
13
+ Currently, the best way to supplement GSH is through the skin via a spray, cream, or lotion. Although you can purchase Glutathione oral supplements, it’s not recommended because the process of digestion breaks down the molecules. By applying Glutathione to the skin for absorption, you can bypass the process of digestion, enabling the molecules to enter directly into the body.
14
+ But which topical glutathione brand is best?
15
+ To get the maximum benefit of GSH, the best formulations provide glutathione as a molecule small enough to pass through the skin’s natural barriers. (Otherwise, you are not getting a full return on your investment.) If the formula is designed specifically for skincare, it should also have high quality ingredients proven to help skin.
16
+ While there are many glutathione products on the market, only Auro uses groundbreaking sub-nanotechnology to deliver a highly absorbable form of GSH. These light-yet-powerful formulations combine bioavailable glutathione with the best skincare ingredients like Resveratrol and Vitamin E.
17
+ Auro Skincare products give you the benefits of glutathione inside and out. With their highly absorbable formulas and top tier skincare ingredients, these creams not only improve skin appearance (particularly for problems like acne), they also improve skin cell function, leading to real and lasting results.
18
+ A Caution Against DIY
19
+ Some people purchase GSH and add it to another lotion or cream. But it is impossible to guarantee that GSH will mix evenly through the product or to know just how much GSH you’re getting!
20
+ If you want a way of getting the benefits of glutathione while still using your own lotions, you should look at general glutathione sprays: Auro GSH Spray and Auro Glutaryl, which can be applied anywhere on the body, including problem skin areas like the face.
21
+ It’s clear that glutathione creams, lotions, and other beauty products are here to stay. It’s also clear why that’s good news, since we can now leverage this tiny molecule to make us feel better and look better!

+ Glutathione for Energy
4
+ Got Low Energy? You’re Not Alone, and Glutathione Can Help
5
+ Most of us suffer from low energy at one time or another. That feeling of sluggish malaise can  keep us from getting to the bottom of our to-do list, sometimes even from getting off the couch!
6
+ There are many reasons for low energy in this modern world – stress, lack of quality sleep, too much screen time…the reasons are endless.
7
+ To get the bottom of it – and the NATURAL way to find more energy, it’s time to talk about Glutathione.
8
+ Glutathione: Help for energy-producing mitochondria
9
+ The mitochondria in our cells are powerhouses- they make most of the energy for the cell.  Their big job is to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the body’s primary energy currency.
10
+ #1 Glutathione helps mitochondrial health and function
11
+ When cells and tissue have an abundance of stressors, also called oxygen-reactive species (ROS), they need adequate detoxification to balance those reactive products. For that energy-producing mitochondria to function well, it needs protection from oxidative stress. This is where Glutathione comes in: Glutathione’s critical role as an energy regulator is to support mitochondrial function by protecting cells from oxidative stress.
12
+ Glutathione detoxifies and balances free radicals. When it is ample in the cells and tissue – it affects overall health in many ways – including energy! It is the main line of defense for maintaining the appropriate mitochondrial environment to avoid mitochondrial dysfunction and cell death.
13
+ #2 Glutathione’s Master Antioxidant power creates homeostasis
14
+ The ideal mitochondrial environment is called the balanced cellular redox state; without it, the metabolic process (including energy production) does not function correctly. The oxidative stress can be balanced with Glutathione to reach this balanced state (aka homeostasis). Then the energy generation processes can work.
15
+ In short, not only is Glutathione involved in antioxidant defense, but also in the regulation of cellular metabolic functions. Balanced Cellular Redox State = Good Energy Levels.
16
+ #3 Glutathione helps to regulate and generate ATP – for energy!
17
+ Let’s go back to the mitochondria’s #1 job: to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the body’s primary energy currency. Fatty acids must are broken down to generate ATP. This is a necessary process that needs to run efficiently for energy production in the body to be efficient as well.
18
+ Glutathione is involved in regulating fatty acid oxidation. It is essential in promoting fatty acid metabolism, which significantly influences energy production – another way in which Gluathione’s role is essential for efficient energy production in the body.
19
+ Now that we know WHAT Glutathione does for energy – how do you ensure you have enough of this energy imperative?
20
+ As we age, our natural levels of Glutathione decline. Couple this with the many daily stressors—stress itself, UV rays, bad food choices, insufficient sleep, and on and on.
21
+ To have healthy levels of Glutathione – it’s essential to avoid everyday stressors and look for a lifestyle of moderate exercise and Glutathione boosting foods. A Glutathione boosting diet is featured in Dr. Nayan Patel’s The Glutathione Revolution and includes foods like avocado, strawberries, orange, spinach, carrots, fish, and more.
22
+ Supplements can be very beneficial in boosting Glutathione levels, but delivery is essential.  Auro’s Glutaryl uses first-of-its-kind delivery of the Master Antioxidant. Dr. Nayan Patel has spent decades researching Glutathione and developed a delivery method that gets Glutathione deeper into the reaches of the dermis and optimizes antioxidant absorption and efficacy. Auro’s patented Glutaryl is the most robust and effective way to get the most out of this powerful transdermal supplement to improve health and significantly aid in improving energy levels, weight loss, and detox. Now that you know the importance of Glutathione, boost your levels naturally. + Glutathione: A Holistic Ingredient for Skin
4
+ There is a seemingly endless amount of skincare products that promise all sorts of benefits. But it’s no secret that what we see on our skin is heavily influenced by our internal health. So unless skincare products also contribute to overall wellness, there’s only so much they can do. That’s why skincare enthusiasts are increasingly turning to glutathione (GSH) as a holistic treatment for problems on and under the skin.

+ Glutathione in the Body
6
+ Glutathione is present in every part of our bodies, where it works as a potent detoxifier and protector of cellular function. Often called the “mother” or “master” antioxidant, it can recycle other antioxidants like Vitamin C, ensuring we get the most out of them. This is important since antioxidants are crucial for protecting us from the harmful effects of free radicals.
7
+ Free radicals are a byproduct of reactions in our cells, particularly when they are damaged by injury or illness. If we build up too many free radicals, they can damage cells’ DNA and proteins, a process we call oxidative stress. High levels of oxidative stress are linked to signs of aging, chronic inflammation, and many diseases in addition to skin issues.
8
+ Antioxidants combat this by disarming free radicals so that they can be safely processed out of the body. Since it boosts other antioxidants and fights free radicals itself, glutathione is crucial for preventing and treating oxidative stress, leading to better health overall.

+ Glutathione for Skin
10
+ Research shows high oxidative stress and low GSH are linked to a variety of skin issues like: acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, age spots, blemishes, sunspots, redness, inflammation, wrinkles, and fine lines. On the other hand, studies indicate that GSH supplements can help control symptoms and create significant improvements in how our skin looks and feels.
11
+ In one case, for example, psoriasis patients who took amino acid supplements along with their existing treatments all saw a reduction in symptoms. Glutathione also blocks some activity of tyrosinase, the enzyme that triggers melanin, making it an effective method of lightening darker skin spots and evening skin tone.
12
+ Because it protects cellular DNA, GSH also promotes cell turnover and helps heal skin damage from UV rays, environmental toxins, and aging processes. Oxidative stress is closely tied to signs of skin aging, like wrinkles and sagginess. But with plenty of glutathione, our skin is better able to regenerate and maintain as much elasticity, firmness, and plumpness as possible.

+ Getting More Glutathione
15
+ Getting more glutathione for skin is easy so long as you use a transdermal nano-glutathione product. These types of products effectively reduce the glutathione molecule into a smaller form that can pass through the skin barrier to create a highly absorbable form of GSH. This means the glutathione can penetrate deep into skin tissues to detoxify and repair cells, and facilitate cellular regeneration for healthier, brighter and more radiant skin.

+ The Auro Skincare Protocol WAKE and REST creams are formulated with the most advanced nano-glutathione on the market as well as trusted skincare ingredients like Vitamins E and C to provide a whole skincare package. Auro also offers an Auro GSH Spray for targeted skincare treatment.
