# soccer-tweet-ner
This model is a fine-tuned version of [tner/roberta-base-tweetner7-all](https://huggingface.co/tner/roberta-base-tweetner7-all) for soccer tweets. It's developed as part of the entity-level sentiment analysis pipeline for soccer tweets. The fine-tuning is done via hyperparameter_search() with 'optuna' as backend on a dataset with tweets from UEFA Champions League, World Cup 2022, and Premier League.
