Best Roleplay model I tried (Feedback)
After using it for a few days now, I can confidently say that this is by far the best RP model I tried thus far.
I've already been using LLMs for RP and just general story generation for almost a year now, and tried a very wide range of models. Out of all of them, this one really stands out as an exceptional model for role-play and generating stories.
As stated on the card, it does really well sticking to character cards, and usually sticks to the character card very well. Responses are varied and often take the initiative in the story in very natural ways, which I haven't seen with other models.
It also does really well writing stories, a simple instruction like "You are a story writer, turn the user input into a long and detailed novel." often lets the model turn it's entire 4k token range, into a very well crafted short story with good flow, a solid start and end.
Some things I noticed:
- Sometimes, should the Output length in a chat exceed 100 ~ 150 tokens, the model sometimes starts repeating the character card, or adds its own OORP notes on how the role-play should proceed. EDIT: Like "[Please continue the roleplay conversation here.]"
- Listing more than two relationships, mentioning specific names in a character card, causes the model to get a little confused. e.g. character A is a wife of character B and friends with C and D. Character A will talk about how much she liked doing it with C or D, besides it being stated in the card that she would never cheat.
Besides that, it has become my favorite model to use at the moment, and I can't even go back to the models I used previously for RP, it's just not the same. Thanks for the awesome model!
Thank you very much for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated! I'll consiider those issues in my next 13B merge and attempt to resolve them, I can't promise I can get them all, hope its not a limitation of 13B llama2. Enjoy the model! :D
