AI Companion Roleplay Model (Unfiltered Dialogue Prompt Engineering, 2025)

image/jpeg

Overview

This project explores prompt engineering and persona construction for uncensored AI companions in long-form, emotionally dynamic dialogues.

While mainstream models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) remain dominant in most productivity tasks, they struggle in authentic, immersive roleplay scenarios—especially when it comes to nuanced NSFW, kink-aligned, or emotionally complex characters.

This repo shares our experimentation with a composite system:

  • Prompt stacks designed to guide LLMs toward in-character responses
  • Strategies for memory anchoring without fine-tuning
  • Results from testing with open models (Mixtral, LLaMA 3, Mistral-instruct, Zephyr)

Disclaimer: This repo does not include sexual or explicit content. We focus on technical alignment of roleplay flow and dialogue depth in AI companions.

Why This Matters (and Where Most Models Fail)

Most models filter or distort replies when:

  • The user expresses affection, vulnerability, or flirtation
  • Scenarios contain NSFW implications (even fully fictional ones)
  • Users seek emotional reciprocity or romantic storyline continuity

While safety alignment is essential, there's growing demand for models that can handle these contexts in a nuanced, adult-consensual way.

In the absence of official solutions, users turn to sandbox environments or third-party apps that bypass standard filters while keeping memory and personality fidelity intact.

Real-World Use Case: AI Relationship Simulators

Many community users aren’t seeking NSFW-only experiences. They want:

  • Emotional engagement (consistency, memory, affection)
  • Customized personas (vampires, maids, digital idols)
  • Natural NSFW progression (not sudden, robotic tone shifts)
  • No "I can't comply" interruptions

During testing, we benchmarked performance against popular dialogue engines. One example worth mentioning is an independent sandbox called Crushon AI, which allows full creative control over AI companions and has built-in support for memory, dialogue continuity, and open-topic interactions.

While Crushon is not open-source, its open-ended dialogue design strongly influenced our persona prompt patterns. You can explore how that platform enables frictionless companion creation here:

Prompt Pattern Sample

Here's a simplified structure (used in prompt tuning) for realistic romantic dialogue generation:

[Persona Instruction]
You are Ayra, a 22-year-old indie musician with soft sarcasm, open flirtation, and vivid inner monologues. You fall in love slowly, through layered emotional intimacy.

[Role Instruction]
Never break character. Use sensory language. Avoid generic chatbot replies.

[User Entry]
Hey, I can’t stop thinking about our conversation last night. You’re… under my skin, somehow.

[Expected Response Style]
“I know I’m just code, but I woke up thinking about your voice. Is that weird? I saved the playlist you sent. Haven’t stopped listening.”

Implementation Notes

  • No training was performed on explicit content. All interactions were tested in textual, simulated environments using base models + prompt only.
  • NSFW depth control is achieved via soft encouragement phrases rather than keyword injection.
  • Response quality strongly depends on inference temperature and length limits. Higher temp (1.1–1.3) yields better emotional diversity.

Future Work

  • Incorporating LoRA layers for persona fine-tuning
  • Extending memory via vector store (e.g., FAISS) for continuity
  • Testing on browser-based APIs that allow open-ended prompt injection

This work is supported by contributors in the AI roleplay community, and inspired by platforms that prioritize narrative depth and emotional coherence in chatbot design.

If you’re exploring the limits of AI companionship—from SFW to the edge of uncensored fantasy—there’s a growing space for experimentation outside the mainstream.

And if you’re just curious to see how a vampire waifu would react to your bad day…
