I already made some comments on his ( @eddy1111111 ) repos, it is just a bunch of random mess without any info but their questionable and odd videos on Bilibili. Why wouldn't everything they have been doing look sus

I mean, their 'fxck_comfy portable' has Sage Attention 3 blackwell libraries in it that don't seem to work and their SA3 wheels all fail to install... and they don't seem to respond to comments on HF...
And yes, there are a lot of 'not loaded' or missing key errors when running their loras or models.
That said, Palingenesis DOES produce better quality videos than regular WAN using the same settings, that much is demonstrable. Are they reputable, trustworthy and above-board? In fairness, I don't know anyone personally - Comfyanonymous, Kijai, Phr00t - so I can't make that claim of anyone. But I haven't seen anything to specifically decry Eddy as a fraud or liar, unless you have something?

You say his model is fast, and any model that integrates Lightning Lora will be fast. This isn't his credit, but he claims it's because of his amazing technology, getting people to pay to become his fans and attend his lectures. He takes someone else's painstakingly created open source project, changes its name, and claims it's his own creation. He changed the name of comfyUI and then claimed he refactored it. Why are you asking here without even going to see it? I doubt your relationship with him.
I did a comparison with standard WAN 2.2 and Palingenesis in this "all in one", and I liked the results with Palingenesis better in my limited testing. If the models have clean licenses to be used and I get better results with it, I'm going to use it.
Okay, you are entitled to your thoughts. To establish a few of my own:
I have no idea who 'Eddy' is, just as I have no idea who anyone in this industry is. I use ComfyUI, but I've never met or could even identify Comfyanonymous, unless he really does have fennec ears and a maid's outfit... You are welcome to make assumptions that I have some unclaimed relationship with him. You'd be completely incorrect, but again, your opinion - unless it becomes accusation - is your own entitlement.
I believe I also stated that his Sage Attention wheels don't work, his 'fxck_comfy' portable model doesn't include functional SA3 and is therefore no better than native Comfy - and if you check the comments on his uploads on here, you will see that I have raised this with him there as well, with no response. What I actually said is that I have observed better quality outputs from the Palingenesis models. That doesn't make my relationship with him suspect, nor does it mean that I support him if he has nefarious objectives. That's like saying because I state that it's a sunny day today, I must somehow have a suspect relationship with the sun. It makes zero sense.
I don't have the time to view a long video in another language, which another user here has already said is 'hard to catch up as non-asian' because I am currently working - as much as I'd love to drop my work to spend ages watching a video I probably can't understand anyway, I can't
I don't believe I've defended Eddy at any point here - only pointed out that I know him as little as I know anyone in this community - whose tools I still use daily - and I also asked what proof there was to back up the allegations of him being a fraud and a liar. I happen to believe that we live in a society where it is too easy to throw allegations at people and ruin their livelihoods and lives without providing evidence. I don't wish to be a part of that pitchfork society - so I asked what evidence there was, as another user of Eddy's new stuff with my own concerns.
I hope that clears that up.
By contrast, one could argue that - since you jumped into this thread, you have relentlessly hammered at him like you have a vendetta. Should I accuse you of being an angry rival, a business partner he sold down the river or a jealous ex? Should I have evidence before I do?

I can't deny that Palingenesis often gives good results, but that dodgy business with installing his SA3 wheel has left a bitter taste in my mouth, together with his non-response to any support questions on his repos.
Sad as it is, I think I will delete his stuff until it can be demonstrated that he is legit - I may have given him the benefit of the doubt before, but distributing a wheel that overwrites a ton of critical dependencies while not delivering what it is meant to is shady AF...
