My name is Yulu Chen, and I am a student at Xi'an University of Posts and Telecommunications. I am writing to provide additional details for verification, as my recent request for access to the SAM 3 model was unfortunately declined.
My research focuses on Video Object Segmentation (VOS). I plan to use the official SAM 3 weights strictly as a baseline to evaluate against our proposed VOS methods. Please be assured that I will fully abide by the license, using the model exclusively for non-commercial, academic research purposes.
