Installation and Setup

Embark on your journey with Pulse-AI by following these setup instructions:

1. Clone the Repository

   git clone https://github.com/Will-Langhart/Pulse-AI.git
   cd Pulse-AI
   

2. Initialize the Virtual Environment

   python3 -m venv venv
   source venv/bin/activate
   

3. Dependency Installation

   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

4. Configure Environment Variables Create a .env file at the project root with your OpenAI API key:

   OPENAI_API_KEY=<your_api_key_here>
   

5. Launch the Application

   flask run

    deactivate  # If you're currently in the virtual environment
    rm -rf venv
    python3 -m venv venv
    source venv/bin/activate
    pip install -r requirements.txt
