What does unlocked mean? vs just chroma_v25.safetensors

Please what is the difference between chroma-unlocked-v27.safetensors and chroma-v27.safetensors (on civitai)?
this is the official release channel, and all versions since v3 have that name. so my guess is, that "chroma-unlocked" is just the official name and may not be mentioned like this in every place (like civitai).
unlocked mean it's uncensored
