Hi there! My name is Rodrigo.

I'm the sole developer behind DalaT5, a T5-based Kazakh Cyrillic-to-Latin transliterator. It is a non-commissioned project built out of respect for the Kazakh people and their current alphabet reform, and has no other purpose other than to help them convert sentences from one script to the other while providing them with a model they can expand upon for their NLP needs.

I'd be humbled if Hugging Face could support this initiative. It'd allow more people, especially non-tech ones, to seamlessly use the app and leverage faster inference times - and for the Kazakhs, it'd allow them to see their reform take shape right before their eyes.
