Blending mask - soft inpainting

Is there a way to better blend my face with the AI fill? My beard get's a bit accentuated, which is nice, but I would like it to be more influenced by the pirate theme.

I tried messing around with the soft inpaint variables, but I end up with a more transparent AI fill and the original image coming through. What would be the trick?

These are the settings used for the above picture:

pirate with black pirate hat, on his ship, {sunny backlighting}, Hasselblad X1D lora:pirates_of_the_caribbean_offset:1

Negative prompt: people in background, oversaturated, BadDream, FastNegativeV2

Thanks for helping out!
